JOB SUMMARY A Sr. Engineer will have a defined area of expertise either in a particular competency or industry. They will have mastered technology specific to their area of competence. Will be able to convey technical solutions to other engineers and to business personnel. Will have a good understanding of multiple CAD packages and cross functional design implications. Capable of being the lead engineer involved in a cross functional team. They will be able to drive cross functional project teams in solving technical problems and overcoming hurdles that may affect project timelines. Will have previous experience of releasing a product into a manufacturing production environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES · Meet the requirements of Design Engineer III · Would be considered a SME (Subject Matter Expert) in their field of competency. · Will represent Jabil Design Services in technical customer discussions / meetings. · Work with Project Managers and Lead Design Engineer in the quoting process · Provide technical input to help identify and solve project risks that may affect overall project plans and schedules. · Is expected to support the development and utilization of processes for design/VAVE. · At the appropriate process phase gates, provide a complete design package to be entered into our PDM system consisting of requirements and design documentation, databases, BOM’s, etc. /provide complete VAVE proposal to be submitted to the customer consisting of detailed proposals, models/simulations/schematics, BOM’s etc. · Participate in all elements of design/VAVE engineering including design reviews and design verification, supply chain & supplier interaction, transfer to design/manufacturing. · Mentoring design engineers I,II & III, technicians and ECAD designers · Provide onsite technical support for all manufacturing builds including engineering prototypes, NPI & production releases. · Stay abreast of the latest technology and techniques to provide designs that are competitive and cost effective. · May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. JOB QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistics, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. REASONING ABILITY Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Ability to develop mathematical models of physical reality and solve them, then implement the results. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS · Bachelors degree in Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university · Minimum of 7-8 years of related experience and/or training · Minimum of 2 years experience as a Design Engineer III · Specific requirements as defined by the market sector · Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience. 一、岗位要求 1、本科及以上学历，机械设计、自动化或相关专业，具备扎实的力学与材料学理论基础； 2、精通SolidWorks或ProE等三维设计软件，熟悉公差分析及GD&T标准，有ATE设备经验者优先； 3、掌握有限元分析基础，能独立进行结构强度、热管理及振动模态的仿真计算与验证； 4、具备良好的跨部门沟通协作能力，抗压性强，能适应项目节点压力并快速响应现场需求； 5、熟悉ATE行业测试机、分选机、探针台等半导体测试设备； 6、英语口语流利，可对接欧美客户。 二、岗位职责 1、负责半导体测试设备（ATE）的机械结构设计与仿真分析，确保满足高精度与高稳定性要求； 2、主导核心模组选型与布局优化，完成详细图纸绘制及BOM清单编制，保障设计可制造性； 3、协同电气与软件团队进行系统集成调试，解决设备运行中的机械干涉与精度偏差问题； 4、跟进设备试产与量产阶段的技术支持，持续优化设计方案以提升设备稼动率与良率。 5、对接产品、芯片测试、量产NPI团队，梳理高速/大电流/多站点ATE整机硬件需求； 6、参考Advantest V93K、Teradyne UltraFLEX架构，完成测试主机、通道板卡、电源模块、接口Loadboard整体硬件方案输出，输出方案评估报告、成本测算、技术风险清单。 BE AWARE OF FRAUD: When applying for a job at Jabil you will be contacted via correspondence through our official job portal with a jabil.com e-mail address; direct phone call from a member of the Jabil team; or direct e-mail with a jabil.com e-mail address.
