You will be mainly accountable for: Operate automated press equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining compliance with all safety requirements and protecting the safety of coworkers. Consistently perform essential job functions in a production environment for scheduled shifts, maintaining productivity and quality standards. Promptly communicate any limitations that may affect the ability to perform essential job duties to a supervisor, manager, or Human Resources. Support a collaborative and compliant workplace by participating in accommodation discussions and adhering to established operational and workplace requirements. Qualifications for the role: Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety, including adherence to safety procedures, PPE requirements, equipment safeguards, and incident reporting requirements. Ability to lift and manually handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds and perform physical job duties in a manufacturing environment. Ability to operate, monitor, and safely shut down punch press equipment and related material-handling equipment, including electric pallet trucks. Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, inventory tags, coil numbers, and production documentation to ensure accurate production setup and verification. Strong attention to detail and quality standards, including inspecting parts for defects, verifying specifications, monitoring lubrication, and performing required flatness and process checks. Ability to perform basic production setup activities, including material feeding, die preparation, production monitoring, and equipment safety verification. Ability to maintain an organized work area, properly segregate nonconforming material, complete required documentation, and support housekeeping and continuous operational standards This Position reports to: James Pence (2nd shift) Hourly pay range: $22.70-$28.59 (Shift premium for 2nd & 3rd shift) What's in it for you We want you to bring your full self to work—your ideas, your energy, your ambition.
