Job Role and Responsibility : AMD, Inc., is hiring Sr. Buyer to Responsible for developing and managing strategic supplier relationships. Develop proposals that include documentation for estimates. Direct availability and allocation of materials, supplies, and finished products. Perform system lifecycle cost analysis and develop component studies. Plan, organize, and execute logistics support activities, such as maintenance. Planning, analysis, and test equipment recommendations. Own end-to-end sourcing and negotiations for compute hardware (servers, storage, networking, datacenter) across NAM/EMEA/LATAM. Own all daily management and execution of assigned requisitions for goods and services with third party providers. Exercise appropriate judgment within defined procedures to determine appropriate action. Communicate effectively with key stakeholders on all levels. Ensure a positive user experience when working with the requisition requestor. Effectively communicate and efficiently resolve issues with all internal and external partners. Work collaboratively and proactively to identify process, sourcing, and contract improvement opportunities. Self-manage within assigned accountabilities. Maintain operational focus with emphasis on customer service and day-to-day resolution of process and requisition-to-pay issues. Consolidate demand and manage OEM/ODM/channel mix. Multiple openings.
