Work Schedule Standard (Mon-Fri) Environmental Conditions Office Job Description Logistics Specialist III 📍Buenos Aires, Argentina Are you an international logistics expert who thrives in complex import environments and enjoys enabling scientific innovation across Latin America? We are seeking a highly experienced Logistics Specialist III to lead critical import operations across the South Region while supporting strategic initiatives throughout LATAM. This role is ideal for a professional with deep expertise in international logistics, customer service, customs regulations and government-related import processes, combined with a strategic business mindset and a passion for continuous improvement. What You'll Do • Support the importation and distribution of scientific instruments, laboratory equipment and regulated products that enable research, healthcare and innovation across Latin America. • Lead end-to-end import operations, from origin to final delivery, ensuring compliance, documentation and operational excellence. • Backlog and Claim management (Back orders, cases, credit notes, replacement orders). • Collaborate closely with Distribution, Quality, Planning, Commercial and Credit teams to ensure alignment across the end-to-end supply chain. • Drive process optimization, cost reduction and logistics transformation projects. • Monitor logistics and CS KPIs, create weekly reports for customers and generate improvements in customer experience. • Act as a trusted partner for distributors, research institutions, universities, public hospitals, and government agencies. What We're Looking For: ✔ Bachelor’s degree in international Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field. ✔ 5–8+ years of experience in international logistics, customs regulations, import operations and trade compliance. ✔ Experience managing cold chain logistics and temperature-sensitive products in regulated environments. ✔ Experience collaborating with scientific research organizations (including CONICET), universities, research institutes, public hospitals, and government agencies. ✔ Strong ERP knowledge and analytical capabilities, including Excel, Power BI, and AI-powered analytics tools. ✔ Advanced English required; Portuguese is highly desirable. ✔ Strong customer focus, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. ✔ Self-motivated, result-oriented professional with excellent communication skills.
