Meet the Team Join the dynamic Cisco Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Communications team, part of the broader International Communications function which spans the globe and includes Asia Pacific, Japan, China, Latin America and Canada. We are at the forefront of the digital disruption narrative, actively shaping global perceptions and conversations around the transformative power of Cisco technology. You’ll be an integral part of a high-impact team amplifying how Cisco is delivering the critical infrastructure for the AI era. For more than 40 years, Cisco has securely connected the world. With its industry leading AI-powered solutions and services, Cisco enables its customers, partners and communities to unlock innovation, enhance productivity and strengthen digital resilience. With purpose at its core, Cisco remains committed to powering an inclusive future for all. Since 1989, Cisco has operated in France, playing a key role in building the country’s digital infrastructure alongside its ecosystem of over 800 local partners. Cisco France is headquartered in the heart of Paris and is a showcase of the office of the future, including a customer experience centre and an innovation lab. Your Impact As a member of the EMEA Communications team, you will lead and manage communications for Cisco France, developing and telling high-impact, meaningful stories that look beyond technology to position Cisco as an established and valuable partner for French organisations as they build their infrastructure for the AI era. You will work in partnership with the broader communications team, the French Leadership Team, employee communications and government affairs to develop and execute strategic communications with storytelling and experiences that engage our audiences across owned, earned, paid and social media channels. Consistently curious, you have proven experience translating complexity into compelling stories that media want to write about, and audiences want to engage with. You know how to prioritize and focus on the areas where communications can have the biggest impact – shaping perceptions, advancing reputations, and nurturing relationships with core audiences. Key Responsibilities Lead communications strategy and execution for Cisco France, serving as a trusted communications advisor to leadership; build deep cross-functional relationships to translate strategic priorities into high-impact campaigns. Define the Cisco France narrative – aligned to the EMEA and global narratives – by developing thought leadership content and executive messaging for the Cisco France GM and creating content for key moments that transform perceptions about Cisco. Collaborate with regional and global PR, employee, social, and influencer teams to champion storytelling that sharpens, strengthens, and scales ideas – maximizing campaign impact and moving people to think, feel, and act. Nurture and build existing relationships with the top business, tech and new media to strengthen Cisco’s presence. Own metrics, communications impact, and timely delivery of communications, using data and insights for reporting and optimizing messaging and channels for impact. Minimum Qualifications Extensive experience driving strategic communications and executive platform development, with a proven ability to influence and shape narratives in a global, matrixed technology company. Fluent in French and highly proficient in English with the ability translate complexity into simple language and imagery – and business goals into relevant, effective communications for different audiences. Strong project management skills and a results-driven approach, with a strong working knowledge of GenAI tools. Resilient problem solver with excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to gain consensus and manage critical situations through consultation and collaboration. Thinks through the lens of possibilities, staying in tune with the business and the market with an outside-in perspective. Preferred Qualifications Highly organized, self-motivated person with strong interpersonal skills and an intuitive ability to read people and influence stakeholders. Deep understanding of current technology trends, as well as Cisco’s story, its technologies and services. Strategic and creative ability to translate business priorities into engaging stories and visuals for diverse audiences across various channels. Expert knowledge of the French media landscape with established media relationships, and a professional interest in government affairs and policy. Possess a bold, growth-oriented mindset who can move with speed and conviction. Why Cisco?
