For more information about Bristol Myers Squibb Netherlands, visit us at bms.com/nl or careers.bms.com/nl Position Summary The Senior Manager, OT Systems & Automation – Cell Therapy Manufacturing Systems, will be primarily responsible for owning and managing the Operational Technology (OT) and Automation systems across the Leiden CTF. Responsible for leading and retaining the OT and Automation team, people’s management, and technical leadership. The Senior Manager, OT Systems & Automation will provide the direction and governance for OT System & Automation strategic plans, road-mapping and continuous improvement initiatives in alignment with site and global business goals. Duties/Responsibilities Leading OT Systems and Automation group to contribute to the Leiden Cell Therapy Process Automation System (PAS), OsiPi (Historian), BAS, Facility Automation systems (EAS/PMS) and Utility Automation system (PUW). Act as responsible and point of contact during Project delivery and Operations for Process Automation system (PAS) and OT systems. Responsible as DCM/CI (Digital capability manager/Configuration Item) owner for Automation and OT digital capabilities for the whole SDLC process at Leiden CTF. SME on DeltaV software, batch configuration, phase logic programming, troubleshooting software issues and updates, DeltaV Graphics Live issues, and updates. Lead continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to RCAs, CAPAs, Change Controls and SNOW for DeltaV process automation. Lead and collaborate with global Automation SMEs for standardization initiatives at Leiden CTF. Manage potential oncall support process (outside normal office hours) during operations as L2 support for Automation and OT systems. Lead in setting the PAS priorities, governance, Automation operational procedures for the Leiden CTF and work on the delivery of these priorities. Lead technical teams to develop the requirements, code and test the deliverables and drive execution of system testing at the site level. Network and work with other cell therapy Automation and OT members to proactively identify issues with cell therapy-based requirements and drive the resolutions. Lead Leiden CTF Automation and OT team and SME's to develop PAS standards, philosophy, design approach and SOPs for Leiden CTF. Drive and support the resolution of critical PAS issues during Project delivery as well as during Operations. Support during internal and external Audits for automation and OT system. Ensuring GxP and GAMP requirements are followed for process automation system. Collaborate with MSAT, MFG, QE, F&E and Global Teams to deliver OT and Automation systems as per business requirements as well as operational support. Education/Experience/ Licenses/Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in an engineering IT, Science field or equivalent experience. Extensive Hands-on experience with Emerson DeltaV, PLC/SCADA systems, Historian etc.. Experience in project delivery and operations for Automation DCS, SCADA and historian systems. Experience in technical leadership and leading technical teams. Understanding of S88, S95 and DeltaV batch processing operations required. Minimum 8+ years of relevant industry experience with: 5+ years of relevant industry experience in Automation and OT. 2+ years of relevant industry experience preferable in biopharma/pharma. Specific Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Working knowledge of regulatory requirements and how they relate to existing and new business systems and practices, primarily GxP. Understanding of engineering documentation such as P&IDs, process flow diagrams and standard operating procedures. Ability to troubleshoot DeltaV control system from the field element up through operator interfaces and databases. Knowledge of HCI or Dell VTRX DeltaV infrastructure and VMs. Knowledge of DeltaV PK controllers, VIM cards, Emerson smart switches. Biologics/Cell Therapy experience is highly valued but not required. Knowledge of Osi Pi is highly valued but not required.
