Job Function: Finance Job Sub Function: Accounting Job Category: Professional All Job Posting Locations: Taguig, National Capital Region (Manila), Philippines Job Description: Key Responsibilities: Be compliant with applicable laws and regulations, and follow guidelines in the J&J Credo Maintain Operational Excellence Responsible for executing accounting and daily operations for Revenue Accounting process area Timely closing & execution of financial periods as per closing calendar and in accordance with SLA commitments, fully observing Compliance, Internal Audit & SOX requirements Accountable for completeness, accuracy and validity of the actuals reported within process/entity scope Understand, adhere and execute per worldwide policies and procedures. Identify compliance risks and recommend solutions Regular focus on Balance Sheet reconciliations to minimize open items Analyze complex business transactions and accounting scenarios to ensure appropriate revenue recognition and compliance with global accounting policies. Perform root cause analysis on accounting variances, reconciliation issues, and process exceptions, partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to drive resolution. Support auditors and legal authorities with the execution of required activities Ensure strong internal controls are in place, in order to achieve “adequate” internal and external audit ratings Talent management Recruit, onboard and training of new joiners Be a trusted business partner Execute global Strategy & Solutions in line with taxonomy Translate complex accounting and operational concepts into clear and actionable communications for business partners and leadership teams. Support Process Subject Matter Experts (SME's) and Operational Key Contacts (OKC's) to ensure cross sector, cross region and cross process alignment, ensuring good documentation is maintained and consistency of a global approach Create game‐changing innovation Generate ideas, fosters and implements continuous improvement mindset, identifying and pursuing process efficiency opportunities Identify process inefficiencies, control gaps, and operational risks, and recommend sustainable solutions to improve accuracy, efficiency, and stakeholder experience in line with global standards Continuously challenge existing processes and leverage data-driven insights to support process simplification, automation, standardization, and operational excellence. Qualifications: Education A minimum of a Bachelor’s level degree or equivalent is required, preferably in accounting, finance, or related business discipline CPA, CMA, MBA and/or other financial certifications is preferred Required Demonstrated ability to learn complex processes quickly and adapt effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment while embracing new technologies Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess situations independently and make sound recommendations. Ability to connect operational activities with financial outcomes and identify opportunities for process improvement. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present information clearly to finance and non-finance stakeholders at all levels. Experience working with large data sets and utilizing data to support decision-making is an advantage.
