Your role and responsibilities We are looking for an experienced Service Account Manager to support ABB’s offshore customers with a strong focus on operational reliability, lifecycle services and long-term value creation. In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for a select group of key accounts, building trusted relationships with stakeholders across customer organisations and within ABB. You will help customers maximise uptime and production while proactively identifying opportunities related to service agreements, modernization initiatives, cybersecurity, lifecycle management and obsolescence handling. The role requires a structured approach to planned shutdowns, rapid coordination during critical incidents and the ability to challenge established ways of working to improve customer outcomes. You will also contribute valuable customer insights that support future project and service opportunities. As several customers operate internationally, collaboration across cultures and nationalities will be a natural part of your daily work. Your responsibilities Manage and develop long-term relationships with offshore customers and key stakeholders. Coordinate service agreements and ensure delivery of agreed service commitments. Drive lifecycle management activities to support reliable and efficient operations. Advise customers on modernization opportunities, cybersecurity and obsolescence strategies. Plan and coordinate service activities related to scheduled shutdowns and maintenance periods. Ensure rapid handling and escalation of critical operational issues. Collaborate with internal specialists and teams to deliver customer-focused solutions. Provide customer insights and operational knowledge to support future project opportunities. Qualifications for the role Experience working with industrial automation, offshore operations or related technical service environments. Ability to manage customer relationships and coordinate multiple stakeholders effectively. Knowledge of service agreements, lifecycle management and operational support activities. Experience handling technical discussions related to reliability, maintenance or modernization. Structured approach to prioritization and coordination in dynamic environments. Professional communication skills in English, both written and spoken. Ability to collaborate successfully across functions, cultures and nationalities. In addition, we offer the possibility of working from home a few days a week. The role includes customer engagement within the offshore segment and occasional travel as required.
