The Sales Manager, Surgery - Moravia Region is responsible for leading the sales team and delivering sales results within the assigned Moravia Region. The role drives market share growth, turnover, profitability and other key performance indicators through disciplined commercial execution, strong customer engagement and effective people leadership. The Sales Manager leads, coaches and develops sales representatives in alignment with Johnson & Johnson rules, guidelines, compliance expectations and Credo values. The role translates business priorities into clear sales goals, allocates resources effectively, monitors performance and implements corrective actions when required. The position works closely with Sales Representatives, Marketing, Professional Education, Commercial Excellence, One MD partners and country or business leadership to implement annual and quarterly sales plans and deliver business objectives. Primary objectives· Deliver sustainable sales growth, market share expansion, turnover and profitability within the assigned Moravia Region business scope. · Lead, coach and develop a high-performing sales team in line with Johnson & Johnson standards and expectations. · Establish clear team and individual sales goals and ensure disciplined performance management. · Increase customer engagement and product presence in priority accounts. · Use sales data, activity insights and market information to improve productivity and business performance. · Ensure strong collaboration with Marketing and cross-functional partners to execute commercial priorities. · Manage resources, budgets, promotions and incentives responsibly and effectively. · Ensure all sales activities comply with applicable laws, company policies, procedures and ethical standards. Key responsibilitiesSales leadership and business performance· Own sales results for the assigned Moravia Region. · Drive achievement of sales targets, activity targets, market share, profitability and other business KPIs. · Translate annual and quarterly business plans into actionable sales execution plans. · Identify growth opportunities, performance gaps and risks, and implement timely corrective actions. · Lead sales events, projects and targeted initiatives designed to improve sales performance. People leadership and team development· Supervise, guide, motivate and develop sales representatives on the assigned territory. · Evaluate team and individual performance and provide clear coaching to improve outcomes. · Establish team and individual sales goals and review progress regularly. · Provide leadership, customer product expertise and field coaching to strengthen capabilities. · Administer promotions and incentives appropriately and use them to support motivation and performance. Customer engagement and account support· Provide account support and sales administration to increase company product presence with customers and accounts. · Build strong relationships with healthcare professionals, institutions and key stakeholders. · Use customer and marketplace insights to anticipate needs and support timely program or project implementation. · Work with sales teams to strengthen account plans, customer coverage and execution discipline. Market insight, analytics and reporting· Collect and use necessary marketing and market information in close collaboration with the Marketing team. · Create and review daily, weekly and monthly sales activity reports. · Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for improved productivity and performance at both team and individual level. · Use business insights to support forecasting, planning and sales decisions. Resource and budget management· Allocate or adjust resources as needed to support sales priorities and customer coverage. · Prepare and control budgets for the assigned district, Moravia Region or business scope. · Ensure resources are used effectively and in line with business priorities. · Support responsible management of promotional activities and commercial investments. Cross-functional partnership· Work closely with Sales Representatives, One MD partners, Marketing, Professional Education and country or business leadership. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement annual and quarterly sales plans. · Ensure alignment between sales execution, marketing priorities and customer needs. · Contribute to cross-functional projects and organizational initiatives that improve sales performance. Compliance and Credo-based leadership· Ensure all sales activities follow federal, national, state, local and company regulations, policies and procedures. · Lead by example in applying Johnson & Johnson Credo values and ethical business practices. · Promote responsible customer engagement and compliant commercial execution across the team. · Escalate risks or issues appropriately and support a culture of accountability and integrity. Experience and qualifications· Experience in sales, commercial leadership, medical device, healthcare or a related commercial environment. · Previous people leadership, field coaching or team management experience preferred. · Ability to manage sales performance, budgets, sales plans and business priorities. · Strong customer and marketplace orientation with the ability to anticipate and address customer needs. · Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills. · Strong strategic, innovative and collaborative mindset, with ability to work effectively in a matrix organization. · Project management capability, including organized follow-up and coordination with involved departments. · Results-driven approach with ability to respond quickly to opportunities and difficulties. ·
