We are looking for a Business Marketing Manager, Radiation Oncology Solutions (ROS), to join our Asia Pacific Japan (APJ) Business Management team. Reporting to the Head of Business Management, ROS APJ, this role will focus on working with product marketing teams on business planning, performance management & portfolio strategy, and develop competitive strategies and tactics that accelerate profitable growth. The successful candidate will combine strong analytical capability with commercial judgement and cross-functional leadership to influence priorities across regional, zone and global teams.Business Planning and Performance Management Support the Director of Product Marketing on the APJ annual and long-range business planning process for assigned ROS portfolios, translating strategic priorities into market assumptions, growth targets, resource requirements and executable initiatives. Build robust business cases, market projections, forecasts and scenario analyses using market size, installed-base, pricing, funnel, revenue, margin and adoption data. Define clear objectives, KPIs and governance routines; track performance against plan, identify gaps and recommend corrective actions. Partner with Finance, Sales and marketing teams in APJ zones, as well as the Head of Business Management to align assumptions and maintain a fact-based view of opportunities, risks and priorities. Prepare concise executive recommendations and decision materials for APJ and global leadership. Analyze sales, market, customer, and operational data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks. Support the Director of Product Marketing on the pricing quality initiatives to improve the quality of product and service pricing. Portfolio Strategy and optimization Support the Director of Product Marketing and the product marketing managers to develop and maintain a coherent APJ portfolio strategy across the product lifecycle, from pre-launch and launch through adoption, upgrades, upsell and transition planning. Assess portfolio attractiveness, strategic fit, differentiation, profitability and market readiness to recommend investment, sequencing and resource priorities. Support the Director of Product Marketing and the team in driving the regional installed base (IB) adoption for upgrades, upsell, replacement, and end-of-support transitions. Translate the IB-related product roadmap changes e.g. high margins upsells and upgrades into regional customer, commercial and lifecycle actions, in collaboration with zone teams, product marketing, commercial excellence and customer service teams. Establish disciplined IB sales opportunity management and forecasting, identify and implement improvements to IB sales processes, tools and ways of working to increase visibility, forecast accuracy, conversion and execution efficiency. Work closely with Commercialization Excellence team to design, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reports using business intelligence tools. Market Landscape and Strategic Insights Develop and maintain an integrated APJ market landscape covering market size and growth, customer segments, installed base, clinical and technology trends, reimbursement, regulation, channels and access barriers. Combine primary and secondary research, voice-of-customer insights and internal data to identify unmet needs, whitespace opportunities and emerging risks. Create repeatable analytical frameworks, dashboards and market models that improve planning quality and support evidence-based decision-making. Shape segmentation framework, targeting, positioning, value propositions, pricing and channel approaches for diverse APJ markets, together with the product marketing teams. Translate complex market information into clear implications and recommended actions for product, commercial and leadership teams. Competitive Strategy and Tactical Execution Establish a structured competitive intelligence process to monitor competitor portfolios, value propositions, pricing, partnerships, evidence, channels and go-to-market moves. Develop competitive strategies, market-specific plays, battlecards, objection-handling guidance and account-level tactics that enable differentiated customer engagement. Anticipate competitor responses and define countermeasures, including positioning, pricing, evidence generation, stakeholder engagement and channel actions. Equip regional and zone teams with actionable insights and capability-building programmes; capture field feedback and continuously refine tactics based on outcomes. Cross-Functional Leadership and Execution Lead cross-functional programmes spanning Product Management, Sales, Finance, Clinical, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Service, Applications and Marketing Communications. Convert strategy into prioritised workplans with clear owners, milestones, decision points and measurable outcomes. Influence without direct authority, challenge assumptions constructively and build alignment across countries, functions and seniority levels. Drive disciplined review cycles and adapt strategies and tactics as market conditions, customer needs and portfolio priorities evolve. Education and Experience Bachelor degree or above. Oncology related or Business degree with extensive oncology or business management field acceptable. A total of 10+ years of relevant experience in business management, strategic planning, portfolio or product management, or related roles within a large healthcare or medical technology solutions company, preferably including regional or global responsibility. A strong background in oncology is preferred; experience in a Radiation Oncology department and expertise in treatment planning are additional advantages. Proven presentation & communication skills and ability to influence colleagues. Possesses high energy, self-directed, team player and detail oriented with a sense of excitement both internally and externally for our products and our company. Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills. Demonstrated capability in business planning, financial and market modelling, scenario development, forecasting, KPI design and performance management. Proven experience developing portfolio, segmentation, positioning, pricing, lifecycle and go-to-market strategies in complex, multi-country markets. Strong market research and competitive intelligence skills, with the ability to synthesize diverse data into clear strategic implications and practical tactics. Willing to travel >30% of the time. Flexibility to travel and work on the weekends as this position requires to support country in the entire APJ region. Flexible work hours due to global communication needs of the position which will involve some early morning and evening calls. Must possess excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills with excellent command of written and spoken English. Working Location: Any of the countries in Asia Pacific – Singapore/Japan/ Korea/ Malaysia/Thailand Preferred Skillsets Strong leadership experience with the ability to manage, develop and lead a diverse group across various locations. Experience leading strategic planning, portfolio management, market landscaping and competitive strategy in healthcare, medical technology or another complex B2B environment. Knowledge, experience and understanding of working within the Asia Pacific markets. Advanced analytical capability using market, financial, customer, installed-base and competitive data to build business cases and guide investment decisions.
