DESCRIPTION: The Injection Molding Process Technician (engineering) supports the execution, monitoring, and troubleshooting of injection molding processes in alignment with engineering-defined process parameters and production requirements. This role is responsible for machine setup, mold installation, and hands-on operation of molding equipment during production and engineering trials. The technician works closely with Process Engineers to support process development activities, validation runs, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring stable and repeatable molding operations. The position requires a solid understanding of injection molding fundamentals, attention to process parameters, and the ability to identify process deviations that may impact product quality or process stability. REQUIREMENTS: Required 4+ years of hands-on experience in injection molding operations within a manufacturing environment. Experience performing mold setup, machine start-up, and process monitoring for injection molding equipment. Ability to operate injection molding machines during production and engineering trials following defined process parameters. Solid understanding of injection molding process fundamentals, including molding cycle stages and process parameters. Exposure to scientific molding concepts or structured troubleshooting methodologies. Experience identifying process deviations and molding defects and supporting troubleshooting activities. Ability to work closely with Process Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to support stable manufacturing operations. Preferred. Experience supporting mold trials, engineering runs, or process development activities. Experience supporting process validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ). Experience working in regulated manufacturing environments (medical device, pharma, or similar). Familiarity with process documentation such as setup sheets, parameter records, and engineering work instructions.
