Project Role : Technology Architect Project Role Description : Review and integrate all application requirements, including functional, security, integration, performance, quality and operations requirements. Review and integrate the technical architecture requirements. Provide input into final decisions regarding hardware, network products, system software and security. Must have skills : Enterprise Architecture Framework Good to have skills : CommerceTools Commerce Platform Minimum 15 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: seeking an experienced and visionary AEP Enterprise Architect to lead the design, governance, and strategic evolution of Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) implementations across our enterprise client portfolio. In this role you will serve as the technical authority for all AEP capability domains — spanning data ingestion architecture, identity resolution, real-time segmentation, federated data strategies, and platform governance — translating complex business objectives into scalable, future-proof AEP solutions. You will operate at the intersection of strategy and delivery: partnering with stakeholders and programme sponsors on digital experience roadmaps while providing hands-on technical leadership to implementation teams across schema design, Flow Service API orchestration, Query Service / Data Distiller patterns, and Federated Audience Composition. You will set and own the AEP architectural standards, review patterns, and governance frameworks that underpin enterprise RTCDP programmes. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be a SME with deep knowledge and experience. - Should have Influencing and Advisory skills. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. - Collaborate with stakeholders to align technology strategies with business objectives. - Mentor and guide junior team members to foster professional growth and knowledge sharing. Professional & Technical Skills: - 10+ years of enterprise software architecture experience 5+ years leading AEP / Adobe Experience Cloud architecture on large-scale implementations. - Authority-level knowledge of AEP platform architecture — XDM schema design, dataset lifecycle, Profile store, Identity Graph, Segmentation Engine, and Destination framework. - Proven delivery of end-to-end RTCDP programmes — from platform onboarding and ingestion architecture through to segmentation, activation, and operational observability. - Strong command of AEP Source Connectors — Adobe-native (Target, Audience Manager, Analytics) and third-party (Redshift, Reltio, Veeva, Salesforce, SAP, Marketo). - Experience defining AEP sandbox strategy, SDLC pipeline, and environment governance for enterprise programmes with multiple development teams. - Hands-on architecture experience with the AEP Flow Service API — designing and governing the full object lifecycle across batch, streaming, and CDC ingestion patterns. - Proven ability to architect custom AEP source connectors using the Sources SDK for proprietary systems with no native connector. - Deep expertise in AEP HTTP Streaming Inlet API authentication, XDM payload contracts, and inlet monitoring — and in Edge Network Server API for server-side and server-to-server collection. - Experience designing event-driven ingestion architectures using Adobe I/O Events, SNS/SQS, and Event Grid with serverless transform layers. - Expert-level AEP API authentication design — IMS OAuth 2.0 client credentials, API key lifecycle, JWT flows — and secrets management integration (Azure Key Vault, AWS Secrets Manager). - Mastery of all Flow Service API object types and dependency order ability to define enterprise naming conventions, JSON payload templates, and governance policies governing their use. - Experience defining Data Prep mapping standards — XDM field path conventions, transformation function library, nested array handling, and schema evolution (PATCH) policy. - Ability to design dataflow scheduling architecture — CRON standards, backfill policy, delta column strategy, and partialIngestionEnabled thresholds — and govern CI/CD promotion pipelines for sandbox-to-production deployment. - Experience integrating Flow Service run monitoring into enterprise observability platforms (Splunk, Datadog) with alerting on flowRunStatus, recordsFailed, and ingestion lag. - Advanced SQL proficiency in AEP Query Service (PostgreSQL dialect) — CTEs, window functions (ROW NUMBER, LAG, NTILE, SUM OVER), FLATTEN() for nested XDM, cross-dataset timestamp-partitioned joins. - Hands-on experience designing Data Distiller derived dataset strategies — computed attributes library, INSERT INTO scheduling, output dataset versioning, and Profile enablement governance. - Experience governing Data Distiller compute usage — query efficiency standards, credit monitoring, and optimisation review gates for large-scale implementations. - Ability to architect multi-step Data Distiller pipelines as ML feature stores integrated with Databricks, SageMaker, or Azure ML. - Hands-on FAC architecture experience — federated connections to Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, and Azure Synapse with Private Link / VPC routing and credential governance. - Ability to design and govern FAC audience composition patterns — filter, enrichment join, deduplication, split, save — with DULE-enforced data residency controls. - Expert knowledge of AEP Identity Service — namespace taxonomy design, deterministic / probabilistic stitching policy, ECID strategy, and identity graph topology governance. - Deep knowledge of AEP data governance — DULE labelling, Policy Service API, consent management, and Privacy Service API for automated GDPR/CCPA request fulfilment. - Experience designing AEP ABAC (Attribute-Based Access Control) permission models — role taxonomy, label-based resource restrictions, and sandbox access governance - Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Architecture, or equivalent professional experience. - Exceptional communication skills — able to present architecture trade-offs to both technical teams and executive stakeholders. - Experience operating within SI / consulting environments — managing client relationships, architecture governance, and multi-team delivery at programme scale. - Experience with Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) architecture — journey canvas design, offer decisioning (ODE), and AJO-to-RTCDP segment trigger integration. - Hands-on experience with Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) — cross-channel data view design and CJA-to-AEP dataset integration. - Experience with Adobe Real-Time CDP B2B Edition — account profiles, buying group architecture, and B2B XDM schema design. - Experience leading Adobe Experience Platform Tags (Launch) governance — rule taxonomy, extension management, and server-side forwarding architecture. - Exposure to AEP AI/ML capabilities — Customer AI (propensity scoring), Attribution AI, and AEP Intelligent Services integration with RTCDP segmentation. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 15 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture Framework. - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years full time education is required. 15 years full time education About Accenture Accenture is a leading global professional services company that helps the world’s leading businesses, governments and other organizations build their digital core, optimize their operations, accelerate revenue growth and enhance citizen services—creating tangible value at speed and scale.
