Job Summary:** The Employee Relations Officer II will be responsible for fostering a positive and productive work environment by addressing employee concerns, mediating disputes, and ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws. This role involves supporting HR initiatives and promoting fair and consistent treatment across the organization. Job Responsibilities:** * Investigate and resolve employee grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary issues in a timely and impartial manner, maintaining detailed records of all cases. * Provide guidance and support to employees and management on a wide range of employee relations matters, including performance management, policy interpretation, and conflict resolution. * Conduct internal investigations into allegations of misconduct, harassment, or discrimination, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies. * Develop and deliver training programs on employee relations topics such as conflict resolution, harassment prevention, and performance management. * Assist in the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures to ensure consistency and fairness. * Collaborate with HR business partners, legal counsel, and other departments to address complex employee relations issues. * Stay updated on relevant labor laws, regulations, and best practices in employee relations to ensure company compliance. * Participate in the review and analysis of employee relations metrics to identify trends and recommend proactive solutions. * Support organizational change initiatives by addressing employee concerns and facilitating smooth transitions. * Act as a neutral party in mediation processes to resolve disputes between employees or between employees and management. Job Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. * Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in employee relations or a similar HR role, preferably within a manufacturing or large corporate environment. * Strong understanding of labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices (e.g., Employment Act 1955, Industrial Relations Act 1967 in Malaysia). * Proven ability to conduct thorough and impartial investigations. * Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), and negotiation skills. * Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on fairness and consistency. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
