Work Schedule First Shift (Days) Environmental Conditions Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Fluctuating Temps hot/cold, Loud Noises (Equipment/Machinery), Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.) Job Description Lead the BPF Production Catalogue operations team while driving operational excellence, safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and continuous improvement. As Operations Manager – BPF Production Catalogue, you will be accountable for day-to-day production performance, team leadership, production planning, resource allocation, capacity management, and execution against customer and business requirements. The Operations Manager will establish clear operational priorities and performance expectations to ensure BPF Production Catalogue activities are executed safely, efficiently, and consistently. The role will monitor key performance indicators, identify production constraints and risks, and lead corrective actions to improve output, quality, service, and cost performance. Key responsibilities include: • Lead and develop the BPF Production Catalogue team, establishing clear expectations, accountability, and performance standards. • Manage daily production activities to achieve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost objectives. • Develop and execute production schedules aligned with customer demand, capacity, staffing, and business priorities. • Monitor production KPIs and implement actions to address performance gaps. • Optimize labor, equipment, materials, and workflow to improve operational efficiency and production capacity. • Drive continuous improvement using Lean, PPI, Six Sigma, root-cause analysis, and other operational excellence methodologies. • Partner with Quality, Supply Chain, Planning, Engineering, Commercial, and other cross-functional stakeholders to resolve production constraints and improve end-to-end performance. • Maintain applicable quality, safety, regulatory, and operational standards. • Lead problem-solving and corrective-action activities for quality, delivery, productivity, and operational performance issues. • Develop team capabilities through coaching, performance management, training, and succession planning. • Support implementation of new products, processes, equipment, and operational changes within BPF Production Catalogue. • Identify operational risks and establish appropriate mitigation and escalation plans. • Build a culture of safety, accountability, continuous improvement, customer focus, and employee engagement. SUCCESS MEASURES Success will be measured through performance in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Productivity, Cost, Customer Service, Continuous Improvement, and Employee Engagement, with clear KPIs and accountability for sustained operational results. REQUIREMENTS: • Advanced Degree plus 6 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of experience in operations management in a regulated manufacturing environment, preferably pharmaceutical/medical device • Professional certifications in Supply Chain, Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing a plus • Strong knowledge of cGMP, quality systems, and regulatory requirements • Proven experience leading, developing and supporting teams • Demonstrated ability to implement operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives • Strong project management and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with all levels of organization • Experience with ERP systems, lean manufacturing, and process improvement methodologies • Ability to analyze data and metrics to implement performance improvements • Budget management and financial acumen • Strong organizational and time management skills for managing multiple priorities • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications • Demonstrates commitment to company values of Integrity, Intensity, Innovation and Involvement Compensation and Benefits The salary range estimated for this position based in New Jersey is $103,100.00–$137,500.00. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
