JOB DESCRIPTION:Senior Manager Commercial PMO, ADC, EMEAP The Opportunity This position works out of our location in Wiesbaden (Abbott GmbH) in the Diabetes Care division where we are helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. Leads a team of commercial program managers in the implementation of strategic commercial programs from ideation until final delivery within timeline & budget. Drives governance, best practice and compliance across commercial program portfolio. Provides leadership in cross-functional and international project teams. Major Accountabilities Ensures that all activities are performed in compliance with quality system requirements. Supports EMEA Commercial Director in strategic planning and priority setting for commercial programs, and takes ownership of new initiatives (conception, team assignment, discovery, kick-offs) Develops and maintains a 2-3 roadmap on strategic commercial programs in close collaboration with EMEAP leadership, Abbott IT, Finance and local markets Leads multi-functional core teams across geographic locations and functional areas from the ideation through delivery to the launch and further regional roll-out, while ensuring high quality of execution (scope, time, cost) supported by meaningful KPIs. Manages multiple large implementations (both hardware / software) and process improvements simultaneously. Responsible for the change management on assigned programs and collaborates with Business Owners on stakeholder management. Provides leadership on risk mitigation to resolve resource and budget constraints. Acts as first escalation level for commercial program managers. Promotes, trains and develops Program/Project Management skills within the wider Commercial organization: develops tools and templates, prepares & conducts trainings for his colleagues Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in science, business administration or engineering or equivalent experience required. Project management certifications preferred. Minimum of 7 years of experience in the MedTech/Pharma/Healthcare industry with a track record as Program/Project Manager Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills Ability to understand and explain complex processes and interdependencies Strategic but at the same time pragmatic and solution-oriented thinking Ability to influence and manage individuals and teams without being the direct manager Capability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment to deliver on communicated timelines and objectives Excellent ability to communicate with all levels of the organisation, tailoring communication and presentations to a diverse audience Fluent English skills, additional languages are a benefit The position requires the willingness to travel within Europe, Middle East & Africa and US (approx. 10%) Follow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.
