We are currently seeking a Treasury Manager to join our Global Treasury team as part of the Funding (External & Internal Funding) team in Geneva. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to funding and capital markets transactions, capital structure optimization, intercompany financing, and strategic treasury initiatives within a global NYSE/SIX-listed company, while working closely with senior Treasury and Finance leadership, including the Group Treasurer and CFO. This role is ideally suited for early-career finance professionals seeking to transition into a high-visibility corporate finance and treasury role with significant international exposure and long-term growth opportunities. A Typical Day as a Treasury Manager, External & Internal Funding As a Treasury Manager within the External & Internal Funding team, you will: Support treasury and corporate finance activities through financial analysis, reporting, and financial modelling. Assist in the structuring, execution, and monitoring of intercompany loans, guarantees, and other treasury-related transactions. Support intercompany funding strategies, dividend repatriation initiatives, and cash repatriation activities across the Group. Monitor affiliate capital structures and support funding recommendations to optimize financing, liquidity, and balance sheet efficiency as well as to mitigate any country risks and financial risks. Prepare presentations and decision materials for Finance leadership, the CFO, Finance Committee, Executive Committee, and Board of Directors. Support the analysis and execution of Group financing opportunities, including loans, credit facilities, debt issuances, and other debt-like instruments. Contribute to funding, capital structure, liquidity management, and refinancing projects across the Group. Support analyses related to credit ratings, banking services, and financial counterparties, including materials for interactions with rating agencies, lenders, and core banking partners. Maintain and enhance treasury models, dashboards, and reporting tools. Monitor financial markets, interest rates, foreign exchange markets, credit markets, and macroeconomic developments. Collaborate closely with Treasury, Tax, Accounting, FP&A, Investor Relations, Legal, external auditors, banks, and local finance teams globally. Support treasury-related analyses involving tax, accounting, and audit considerations impacting financing and funding structures. Drive treasury process improvements, automation initiatives, and system enhancements. Prepare recurring Treasury deliverables, including WACC analyses, dividend proposals and payment processes, credit metrics, financing reviews, and materials for management and governance committees. Support the maintenance and integrity of the Treasury Management System and related reporting platforms. WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON Education Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience 2-3 years of relevant experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Treasury, Treasury Advisory, Consulting, Transaction services, Audit, Consulting, Corporate Finance, or a related field. Exposure to financial markets, funding, treasury, or capital markets activities is a strong asset. Experience working in a multinational or international environment is a plus. Technical Skills Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving capabilities. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. Financial modelling, valuation methodologies, credit metrics and capital structure analysis experience is a strong asset. Experience with Treasury Management Systems, Bloomberg, SAP, Power BI, or similar financial platforms is a plus. Ability to translate complex financial information into clear recommendations and management presentations. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large and complex datasets. Strong interest in finance, financial markets, and macroeconomic developments. Exposure to corporate finance, treasury, capital markets, funding strategies, credit ratings, and debt financing is a plus. Accounting knowledge and understanding of financial statements are strong assets. Soft Skills Dynamic, hands-on, and proactive mindset. Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
