The Senior Manager / Manager, Third Party Operations (TPO) is responsible for leading global procurement and planning activities for finished goods sourced from OEMs and third-party suppliers. You will be responsible for aligning supply with demand through robust S&OP processes, managing purchase orders, and optimizing inventory to ensure product availability for Beckman’s customers. This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration with manufacturing, engineering, and commercial teams to proactively manage risks and drive operational excellence. You will also oversee system accuracy, supplier performance, and in-transit inventory, playing a key role in building a resilient and responsive supply chain. This position reports to the Senior Director, Third Party Operations (TPO) and is part of the Supply Chain function within Global Operations organization, and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Lead OEM and Third-Party S&OP Processes: Drive collaborative Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) with OEM and third-party suppliers to ensure capacity alignment and supply continuity in support of customer demand. Cross-Functional Risk Management: Own the feedback loop across OEMs, third-party suppliers, internal manufacturing, and engineering teams to proactively identify and mitigate supply risks and operational bottlenecks. Material Planning & Inventory Optimization: Execute Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and maintain optimal inventory levels through Min/Max planning and safety stock strategies to ensure product availability. Procurement Execution: Generate and manage Purchase Orders (Standard and Drop-Ship) in alignment with demand forecasts and supplier lead times. Resolve PO discrepancies and ensure timely fulfillment. System & Data Integrity: Maintain accurate system inputs in Oracle and validate forecast accuracy to support reliable planning and procurement decisions. Drive action plans to improve critical functional KPIs. Stakeholder Engagement: Lead regular supply chain reviews with commercial teams to align on demand, supply constraints, and fulfillment strategies. In-Transit Inventory Management: Monitor and manage in-transit inventory to optimize working capital and ensure timely delivery to distribution centers or end customers. Project management: Lead and facilitate assigned projects and ensure project milestones are met, and action plans are closed at timely manners. The essential requirements of the job include: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in supply chain, procurement, or operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Proven experience in OEM and third-party supplier management, tactical buying, and S&OP processes. Strong knowledge of MRP systems, inventory planning, and ERP platforms (preferably Oracle). Proven experience leading and facilitating Kaizen initiatives with demonstrated success in driving process improvements. Experience working in a regulated industry (e.g., medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or electronics) is a plus. Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role Ability to travel – 15 % travel, overnight. Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 25lb. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Defining and tracking yearly Demand, Production and Inventory budgets. Previous experience Oracle OBI.
