The BCF Automation Manager will be a highly collaborative member of the BCF. This exceptional team member will support BMS’s business controls activities in BMS’s Hyderabad CoE, and demonstrate the following attributes: Expertise in driving analytical and creative solutions using innovative techniques and automation tools (specific tools noted in the requirements section below) Deep understanding of the business landscape, market trends, and industry dynamics Outstanding ability to forge strong partnerships across the organization to provide insights and guidance to cross-functional teams Open communication and cooperation to ensure BCF activities are executed seamlessly Successful candidates will possess excellent leadership skills, inspiring and motivating team members to deliver exceptional results. A minimum of 5-7 years of experience is required. The position will be based in the BMS’s Hyderabad Location (expected 50% in-person). Key Responsibilities and Major Duties: Automation and process excellenceExecute control automation roadmap aligned to transformation initiatives, SOX control automation and BCF activities Strong project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-changing environment Enable continuous controls monitoring capabilities using analytics and rule-based testing across high-risk processes. Partner with IT to ensure control-relevant system features are enabled (system workflows, configuration checks, etc.). Drive simplification of finance processes to reduce control complexity Leverage enabling technologies to automate and monitor controls through design and test procedures Ensure automation solutions meet SOX controls requirements, maintain audit-ready documentation, and support internal/external audits. Drive adoption through communication and measure outcomes (reduce manual effort, reduce time commitment, cost savings) Provides training and technical guidance to BCF team members on automations and associated process changes Relationship management and teaming Holds self and others to timelines, quality, and accuracy Develops strong relationships with all stakeholders to understand processes and controls and identify opportunities to automate Risk management Articulates material risks and opportunities and takes an active role in designing and executing response or contingency plans Degree/Certification/LicensureBachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree or CA / CPA preferred.
