Responsibilities: Governance & Standards: Develop a global Customs and Export Control Management System and establish clear standards and frameworks across FCS and its Business Units and legal entities. Policies & Processes: Translate regulatory requirements into pragmatic policies and processes and continuously develop them in line with internal and external requirements. Customs & Export Control: Act as a central subject matter expert for customs and export control and ensure relevant regulatory requirements are effectively implemented. Functional Coordination: Guide and coordinate local customs and export control contacts, providing expertise and driving consistent implementation of defined standards. Risk & Assurance: Assess compliance risks, establish meaningful reporting, and lead or support internal and external audits as well as investigations where required. Projects & Collaboration: Drive cross-functional projects to further develop processes, structures and tools, working closely with Procurement, Sales, Finance, Compliance and other relevant functions. Qualifications: Education: University degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Business Law or a comparable field - with a focus on foreign trade, customs or export control. Experience: Several years of relevant experience in customs, export control or trade compliance within an international industrial environment, combined with solid hands-on operational experience. Expertise: Strong knowledge of relevant German, EU and international customs and export control regulations, particularly BAFA requirements, sanctions, origin and preference rules, and Incoterms. Project Experience: Proven experience leading cross-functional projects and implementing new processes, standards or tools. Influence: You bring different stakeholders together, build support for common standards and drive their consistent implementation. Working Style: Independent, pragmatic and solution-oriented, combining sound regulatory judgment with a strong understanding of business processes.
