The Mars team is responsible for bringing Meraki Dashboard features to the Cisco Catalyst family. Your Impact Build and scale full-stack, distributed solutions that deliver seamless customer experiences. Drive reliability, performance, and operational excellence through testing, telemetry, and monitoring. Own features end-to-end, from design and development through production deployment. Partner with Engineering, Product, and multi-functional teams to build technical and business priorities. Solve complex software, networking, and customer issues, continuously improving scalability and reliability. Minimum Qualifications 12+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s, 8+ years with a Master’s, or 5+ years with a PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Development expertise with Ruby on Rails, Golang, Python, or Java/Spring Boot, building scalable backend services, REST APIs, and distributed applications. Experience with AWS Cloud, crafting and delivering scalable, reliable, and cloud-native applications and services. Expertise, including modern UI development with React.js or similar frameworks and the ability to work across multiple layers of the technology stack. Strong experience with networking devices and large-scale distributed networking solutions, including systems software design. Demonstrated technical leadership, including mentoring engineers, influencing engineering direction, leading complex projects end-to-end, and collaborating across teams to deliver high-quality solutions at scale. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Cisco CML or similar network simulation/emulation platforms. Proven ability to collaborate optimally across multi-functional and globally distributed engineering teams. Why Cisco?
