Job Description: Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Senior Buyer Connectivity (f/m) to join our Procurement department based in Toulouse, France. As a Senior Buyer for In-Flight Connectivity, you will be responsible for defining and implementing procurement strategies for critical connectivity solutions within AIRBUS SAS. This role involves managing complex supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the delivery of innovative and cost-effective solutions for our aircraft programs. Your challenges: Define and execute procurement strategies for in-flight connectivity systems, aligning with AIRBUS's overall business objectives and technology roadmap. Lead the entire procurement cycle, from market analysis and tender processes to contract negotiation (pricing, IP rights, SLAs) and ongoing supplier relationship management. Collaborate closely with engineering, design, legal, and program teams to integrate procurement activities seamlessly into project timelines. Monitor market trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to identify new opportunities and mitigate supply chain risks. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including cost reduction, process optimization, and resolving complex supplier claims or disputes. Your boarding pass: Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic procurement, with a focus on complex technical systems (aerospace or telecommunications industry preferred). In-depth knowledge of in-flight connectivity technologies (satellite communication, air-to-ground systems, Wi-Fi, hardware/software). Proven expertise in contract negotiation, supplier management, and proficiency with procurement software/ERP (e.g., SAP). Negotiation level in English; proficiency in French or German is a plus.
