We are seeking a visionary, highly skilled, and innovative UX Designer (4–8 Years) to join our high-impact Team. In this role, you will lead the user experience and visual design strategy for cutting-edge digital platforms, AI-driven tools, and complex enterprise software. You will turn ambiguous, high-tech concepts into elegant, intuitive, and high-performing digital products. Qualification & Experience: Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, Visual Communication, Industrial Design, Computer Science, or a related field. (Specialized degree or academic background in UX Design is a strong plus) Required Certification: Must hold at least one recognized professional UI/UX design certification (e.g., NN/g UX Master / Certified, Interaction Design Foundation (IxDF), Google UX Design Professional Certificate, or HCI Certification). Experience: 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience in end-to-end product design, UX research, interaction design, and complex enterprise or AI tool interfaces. Key Responsibilities End-to-End Product Design: Lead the complete design lifecycle—from generative research, user journey mapping, and wireframing to high-fidelity UI design, prototyping, and design system maintenance. Lab Innovation & AI Interface Design: Design ground-breaking, intuitive user experiences tailored for AI/ML and Computer Vision workflows (e.g., visual data annotation platforms, spatial AI dashboards, real-time diagnostic interfaces). User Research & Usability Testing: Conduct qualitative and quantitative user research, contextual inquiries, and usability tests with domain experts, engineers, and end-users to validate complex workflows. Design Systems & Scalability: Define, govern, and scale comprehensive design systems and component libraries to ensure visual and functional consistency across all lab applications. Rapid Prototyping: Create interactive, high-fidelity prototypes (using Figma, Protopie, etc.) to communicate micro-interactions, motion design, and complex data visualizations to stakeholders and developers. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product Managers, Machine Learning Engineers, and Full-Stack Developers to ensure design feasibility, technical alignment, and seamless execution. Advocacy & Mentorship: Drive a human-centered design culture across the lab, mentoring junior team members and advocating for best accessibility (WCAG) and UX standards. Technical Essentials Design & Prototyping Tools: Expertise in modern design suites (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and advanced prototyping tools (Principle, ProtoPie, Framer). UX Research & Testing: Proven ability to run end-to-end UX research using tools like Maze, UserTesting, Hotjar, or contextual interviews. Design Systems: Demonstrated capability in building and maintaining tokenized, accessible design systems at scale. Information Architecture & Interaction: Deep knowledge of information architecture, wireframing, micro-interactions, and visual hierarchy for data-dense applications. Technical & Frontend Literacy: Working understanding of web technologies (HTML5, CSS/Tailwind, component-based frameworks like React/Vue) to ensure design feasibility during developer handoff. Accessibility Standards: Mastery of inclusive design principles and WCAG 2.1/2.2 accessibility compliance. Soft Skills & Behavioral AttributesStrategic Product Mindset: Ability to balance complex technological capabilities (AI/ML) with actual user needs and business goals. Innovative & Creative Problem-Solver: Thrives in an ambiguous, lab-oriented environment where novel user experience paradigms must be invented from scratch. Articulate Communication: Strong storytelling and presentation skills to justify design decisions to senior executive leadership and technical teams. Nice-to-Have / Added AdvantagesPrior experience designing interfaces for AI/ML tools, Computer Vision datasets, spatial computing, or industrial/aerospace software. Knowledge of quantitative analytics tools (Amplitude, Mixpanel) to drive data-informed design iterations. An active online portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX problem solving, design systems, and product innovation case studies. Success MetricsUser Experience & Satisfaction: High System Usability Scale (SUS) scores and positive user adoption metrics across lab-launched platforms. Design Quality & Consistency: Timely delivery of scalable, accessible, and high-fidelity design artifacts backed by well-maintained design systems. Innovation & Impact: Successful introduction of novel UI patterns and AI interaction models that simplify complex engineering processes. Collaboration Efficiency: Seamless developer handoff, low rework rates, and strong cross-functional alignment throughout the product delivery cycle.
