Join the Medtronic US Sales Finance Center of Excellence (COE), a team that supports 12 unique Operating Units within the Cardiovascular, Neuroscience and Medical Surgical portfolios as well as Global Commercial Operations. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced finance leader to lead a team of analysts providing financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and strategic analysis for the multiple US Sales Organizations. This is an exciting opportunity to serve as a strategic finance partner to senior business leaders while driving standardized, sustainable, and best-in-class FP&A processes. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across Sales Finance, Operating Unit Finance, National Sales Leadership, Sales Compensation, Total Rewards, and Financial Systems to deliver insights that enable better business decisions and help unlock the full potential of our sales organizations Why Medtronic? As a Senior Finance Manager, you will lead a team of financial professionals while serving as a trusted business partner to US Sales leadership and key functional stakeholders. We’re working a minimum of 4 days a week onsite as part of our commitment to fostering a culture of professional growth and cross-functional collaboration as we work together to engineer the extraordinary. Location: Fridley, MN Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: Financial Planning & Business Partnership Lead financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis for multiple US Sales Organizations. Partner with Operating Unit Finance teams to develop the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and recurring forecasts. Provide insightful analysis of financial performance, identifying key trends, risks, opportunities, and business drivers. Partner with Total Rewards and Sales Compensation on annual compensation planning, including modeling cost impacts, identifying key metrics, and calculating quarterly commission expense. Build strong, collaborative relationships across Operating Unit Finance, Total Rewards, Sales Compensation, Financial Systems, and Sales Leadership. Strategy, Innovation & Process Improvement Drive standardization, simplification, and automation of forecasting, planning, and reporting processes. Identify opportunities to improve scalability, efficiency, and consistency across the Sales Finance organization. Partner with global finance teams to identify opportunities to expand and leverage COE capabilities globally. Collaborate with Sales Systems teams to optimize financial systems, reporting tools, and data capabilities. Lead cross-functional initiatives that enhance the quality, efficiency, and sustainability of financial processes. Leadership & Talent Development Lead, coach, and develop a team of financial professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and career development. Establish clear priorities and expectations while empowering team members to take ownership of their responsibilities. Identify and develop talent to strengthen the capabilities and future leadership pipeline of the Sales Finance organization. What You’ll Bring to the Team Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting 7+ years of work experience in Finance and/or Accounting or an Advanced Degree with 5+ years of work experience 5+ years of progress leadership experience Preferred Qualifications: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify key trends, drivers, risks, and opportunities. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insights for senior leaders. Strong business acumen and demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders across multiple functions and levels of an organization. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, complex environment. Experience leading cross-functional projects and building strong partnerships across Finance and business functions. Demonstrated ability to leverage systems and data to improve financial analysis, reporting, and decision-making. Experience driving process standardization, simplification, automation, or transformation. Familiarity with Medtronic financial systems, including SAP, OneStream, Essbase, and Hyperion. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. MBA, CPA, or other advanced finance/accounting designation is a plus. For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
