This position reports to: Quality Manager __ The work model for the role is: onsite / #LI-onsite In this role, you will help ensure the quality and reliability of our products by inspecting and testing components, assemblies and finished products from both suppliers and internal production. You will make sure that only compliant products are released to the next stage of production and delivered to our customers. You will be mainly accountable for: Conducting and documenting tests and measurements to verify the product conformity across incoming goods, production, test labs and final inspection including thermal and magnetic tripping tests for products such as manual motor starters and thermal overload relays. Programming measurement equipment to improve repeatability and efficiency. Analyzing 3D data with corresponding software such as VGSTUDIO MAX. Collaborating in improving existing test protocols and capability, resulting in greater efficiency, accuracy, and/or reliability of test outcomes. Evaluating quantitative metrics to determine compliance with defined requirements. Controlling of non-conforming goods. Managing the maintenance of measurement equipment such as calibration of gauges, repair and purchasing of measurement equipment. Qualifications for the role Completed apprenticeship as an electrician, electronics technician or mechatronics technician Willingness to work shifts (2 shifts; 3 shifts if required by business) Good German language skills (spoken and written); basic to good English language skills is a plus A collaborative, solution-focused, structured approach and a good team player Driving license (B) Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies (Yellow Belt) is a plus Benefits Canteen Employee Assistance Program Flexible Workpractices Please note: in the case of equal suitability, people with severe disabilities and their equals are given preference.
