At Cytiva, we are now looking for a QA Lead within Product Surveillance – a key role with high visibility across the organization. You will drive the transformation of our complaint management processes from reactive to proactive, while ensuring robust compliance in a complex and highly regulated environment. As QA Lead – Product Surveillance, you hold a strategic role within QA, with full ownership of the complaint and field action processes at the Uppsala site. You will both drive direction and ensure performance – shaping how we work with complaints, CAPA, and improvement funnels, while securing that our KPIs and regulatory expectations are met. You act as a central coordinator and leader across functions, particularly in critical situations such as field actions, where fast and well-informed decisions are essential to minimize customer and patient impact. This position reports to the Sr QA Section Manager and is part of the QA organization located in Uppsala. This is an on-site role. What you will do: Own and continuously develop the complaint, field action, product hold, and improvement funnel processes at site level Drive the transformation towards a more proactive, data-driven complaint management approach Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams within the Complaint Handling Unit (without formal line management) Act as Subject Matter Expert and key contact in audits and customer interactions Ensure effective complaint handling, including investigation, documentation, and customer communication Analyze trends and present insights to operational and management reviews Approve CAPA/EC plans, impact assessments, and ensure robust closure decisions Play a key role in implementing a new global complaint process (goes live Q4) Why this role?
