Job Description SummaryAs the Indirect Contracting Team Leader (f/m/d), you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end management of indirect customer contracts across PDx International. You will lead a team of contract specialists and ensure that distributor, wholesaler and sales representative contracts are in place, effectively managed, renewed on time, and fully compliant with applicable laws, regulations, and internal GE HealthCare policies. This role is critical in strengthening and sustaining the indirect contracting control environment across PDx International. It requires strong contract management expertise, sound judgment, people leadership, stakeholder management, and the ability to drive transformation in a complex, cross-functional environment. The role will focus on standard work, lean processes, measurable performance management, governance, and sustainable remediation of contract lifecycle risks. The role is responsible for operational contract lifecycle management and governance. Legal interpretation, advice, risk assessments, and approval of substantive contractual deviations remain the responsibility of the Legal function. The same applies to PDx Compliance. Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities: Indirect Contract Management: • Lead the end-to-end operational management of the contract life cycle for distributor, wholesaler and sales representative contracts. This will include drafting, review, execution, renewal, amendment, extension, and termination in close coordination with particularly Commercial, Regulatory, Quality, Pharmacovigilance, Legal and Compliance teams. • Ensure contract coverage, expiry dates, status, renewal timelines, key obligations, comprehensive and accurate contract repository, and remediation actions are accurately tracked, maintained, and audit-ready. • Identify indirect third parties operating without valid contract coverage and drive risk-based remediation, including prioritization of expired or at-risk contracts. • Partner with Commercial, Compliance, Legal, Finance, and other stakeholders to manage customers without valid contract coverage according to agreed controls, escalation pathways, ordering restrictions, and documentation requirements. • Ensure compliant execution and lifecycle management of third-party commercial contracts by enforcing approved templates, completing required due diligence and compliance reviews, and coordinating necessary legal, regulatory, trade compliance, privacy, competition law, and anti-corruption assessments. Ensure timely escalation of material risks, deviations, and approval requirements in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations. • Decision-making authority includes operational prioritization of contract renewals and team workload, workflow management, governance reporting, escalation of identified risks, and driving process improvements in alignment with relevant support functions. Approval of contractual deviations, policy exceptions, and legal or compliance positions remains with the designated approving functions. Team Leadership and Operational Execution: • Lead, coach, and develop a team of contract specialists, ensuring clear priorities, high-quality execution, and consistent ways of working. • Set expectations for process adherence, documentation quality, stakeholder responsiveness, compliance with internal standards, and Daily Management. • Act as an escalation point for complex contracting topics, lapsed coverage, renewal prioritization, delays, deviations, and cross-functional alignment needs. • Train and build team capability and foster a culture of accountability, ownership, collaboration, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. Compliance, Risk Management and Governance: • Ensure indirect customer contracts comply with applicable laws, regulations, internal policies, SOPs, approval requirements, and GE HealthCare compliance standards. • Strengthen the contracting control environment through contract coverage, renewal governance, role clarity, process adherence, and effective risk escalation. • Define and maintain clear roles and responsibilities, including RACI for contract review, approval, renewal, escalation, and cross-functional decision-making. • Establish governance routines to review overdue actions, upcoming renewals, lapsed coverage, extensions, deviations, risks, process adherence, audit readiness, and remediation progress. • Support internal investigations, audit activities, compliance reviews, and management responses relating to indirect contracting activities. Process Transformation and Lean Standard Work: • Transform the indirect contracting process toward a standardized, lean, transparent, and well-controlled operating model. • Redesign the contract renewal lifecycle with clear initiation triggers, process maps, approval pathways, standard handoffs, and defined ownership embedding mandatory function specific review checkpoints and deviation escalation. • Implement standard work, templates, process documentation, operating rhythms, and Daily Management across PDx International. • Drive adoption of contract lifecycle management technologies, data quality standards, automation opportunities, and reporting capabilities to improve efficiency, transparency, and risk management. Continuously improve routines to increase transparency, reduce email-based follow-up, improve action ownership, and reduce waste, waiting times, rework, and complexity. Management System, KPIs and Performance Tracking: • Build and maintain a management system for indirect contracting, including KPIs, dashboards, performance reviews, action tracking, and governance routines. • Monitor contract lifecycle performance, including contracts executed before expiry, renewal cycle duration, extensions, lapsed coverage, overdue actions, deviations, backlog, and remediation progress. • Use data insights to identify bottlenecks, gaps, and process failures, and translate them into prioritization, escalation, resource allocation, and improvement actions. • Provide regular updates on performance, contract coverage, risks, remediation actions, efficiency improvements, and transformation milestones. Stakeholder Management and Cross-functional Collaboration: • Build strong relationships with all relevant support functions, such as Compliance, Legal, Finance, Regulatory, Operations, Sales Managers, and regional leadership teams. • Align stakeholders on contracting priorities, process requirements, risk management expectations, roles and responsibilities, decision rights, and escalation points. • Communicate complex or sensitive contracting matters clearly and effectively, helping build consensus across functions. • Act as a senior point of contact for indirect contracting topics, escalations, governance discussions, remediation actions, and transformation initiatives. Required Qualifications: • Significant experience in contract drafting and management, commercial contracting, legal operations, public procurement, commercial operations, or a related field, preferably within healthcare, pharmaceutical, diagnostics, medical technology, or another regulated industry. • Experience managing distributor networks, working within regulated healthcare, leading cross-border contracting teams, implementing governance frameworks and responding to internal or external audits is strongly preferred. • Strong understanding of contract lifecycle management, distributor or indirect customer contracting, compliance requirements, risk management, internal controls, and governance frameworks within regulated healthcare. • Pro
