Technical Lead PTC is seeking a Technical Lead with strong expertise in Core Java to lead the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise applications, delivering secure, reliable software in an Agile environment while providing technical direction to the team. POSITIONAL ATTRIBUTES A self-driven technical leader with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, passionate about building high-quality software and mentoring engineers. Demonstrates ownership, writes clean and testable code, drives architectural decisions, and brings a customer-first mindset with a commitment to continuous learning. YOUR DAY-TO-DAY Lead the design, development, testing, and maintenance of scalable Java applications. Write clean, reusable code and develop unit/integration tests. Drive application architecture, lead code reviews, and guide technical discussions. Mentor engineers and foster best practices across the team. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, continuously improving performance, reliability, and documentation. MUST HAVE Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent. 5+ years of hands-on Java application development experience. Strong expertise in Core Java, OOP, SOLID principles, and Design Patterns. Proven experience in system design, architecture, and technical decision-making for enterprise-scale applications. Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and lead technical discussions. Experience with JUnit, Git, REST APIs, and modern software engineering practices. Strong analytical, debugging, communication, and collaboration skills. Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code).
