This Position reports to: Business Manager - Commercial and Portfolio Job Advert Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage a team of designers/engineers to deliver high quality, cost effective, and timely engineering solutions to customers. Each day, you will formulate plans and allocate resources to meet the agreed contractual and financial targets. You will also showcase your expertise by initiating, coordinating, driving, and overseeing team development and continual improvement of processes and procedures to strengthen the engineering and design capability. The work model for the role is: #Li_onsite This role is contributing to the Robotics & Discrete Automation Bangalore, India. You will be mainly accountable for: Lead and develop a team of engineers and project managers to successfully execute robotics projects while achieving revenue, cost, and profitability targets. Oversee end-to-end project execution, ensuring delivery on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with contractual, quality, and safety requirements. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project execution processes, operational efficiency, and overall business performance. Collaborate with Sales and other stakeholders by providing technical expertise, project references, and execution support for strategic customer opportunities. Partner with Supply Chain, Logistics, and Finance functions to ensure seamless operations, efficient resource utilization, and timely invoicing and project delivery. Qualifications for the role Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline. Min 8 -15 Years of experience in Engineering and Project Management, with a proven track record of leading end-to-end project execution in industrial environments. Experience in Industrial Robotics is preferred. Strong knowledge of project execution methodologies, governance frameworks, and continuous improvement practices to ensure delivery against quality, schedule, and cost objectives. Experience in managing HSE compliance, contractual obligations, risk management, and quality standards within project environments. Demonstrated ability to lead and develop project execution teams, drive operational excellence, standardize processes, and effectively collaborate with customers and cross-functional stakeholders. Working knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office tools, and project management methodologies, supported by strong communication and interpersonal skills.
