Invest in us and we’ll invest in you!. The Senior Change & Transformation Consultant works at the heart of multidisciplinary teams to design and deliver sustainable organisational change. You will help clients adopt new capabilities, navigate complexity, and embed transformation that lasts. You will work across AI, digital services and modern ways of working, in partnership with clients and delivery teams. Our Change Management consultants are “T-shaped” by design: with deep expertise in Change Management, and with breadth across Organisational Design and AI. Typical Projects These are some of our recent high-profile transformation programmes across sectors such as education, social care, justice and government, including: Agile transformation: helping organisations adopt agile and product-led ways of working through new governance, team practices and capability building AI adoption and governance: leading the people side of AI implementation, driving adoption and embedding responsible AI practices DevOps transformation: enabling the cultural, structural and capability changes needed for continuous delivery and modern engineering practices Digital service delivery: supporting citizen-facing digital service rollouts through process redesign, training and stakeholder engagement Organisational resilience: helping organisations become more adaptive through new operating models, team structures and decision-making approaches Product management capability: building product maturity by defining roles, establishing roadmaps, and coaching leaders and teams Regulatory and policy change: supporting adoption of new data, technology and AI-related requirements while building confidence and compliance We are particularly interested in applications from candidates who can demonstrate robust experience in the following: Change Management & Stakeholder Leadership Experience applying recognised frameworks (e.g. ADKAR, ACMP, CMI, Kotter, Lean Change Management) to organisational readiness assessments, change strategy development, and risk mitigation Skilled in stakeholder engagement, communications, training and transition planning. You are able to influence at all levels, from frontline teams to executive leadership, using evidence, data and storytelling Experienced in designing, delivering and measuring adoption and behaviour change outcomes Confident coaching and mentoring leaders and teams through complex change Skilled at facilitating workshops that align stakeholders around a shared vision and build ownership of change AI-Enabled Transformation Strong understanding of AI as an enabler of business transformation Experience supporting AI adoption, governance, capability building, and responsible AI practices Confident using AI tools to enhance delivery and client outcomes Discovery, Diagnostics & Systems Thinking Capable of rapidly assessing organisational structures, cultures, processes and ways of working through discovery, stakeholder interviews and workshops Able to synthesise complex information into clear insights and recommendations Understands whole-system impacts and interdependencies, visualising change through stakeholder maps, impact assessments and journey mapping Experienced collaborating in multidisciplinary teams alongside designers, researchers, product managers and technologists Transformation Delivery Proven experience delivering change from mobilisation through adoption and hypercare, across domains such as digital and AI-enabled transformation, operating model change, and agile/DevOps adoption Comfortable navigating ambiguity and competing priorities; able to work with resistance to design interventions across people, process, culture and capability How You Work Builds trusted partnerships, working with clients rather than just for them Thrives in agile, collaborative, multidisciplinary environments Fosters psychological safety, inclusion and high-performing teams Certified practitioner in a recognised change management framework (e.g. ADKAR, ACMP, CMI, Kotter, Lean Change Management) Able to interpret performance data and organisational metrics to inform change decisions Skilled in systems thinking and co-design techniques Confident with collaboration tools such as Jira, Miro and Lucid Desirable Experience Worked to the GOV.UK Service Standard or within the public sector Worked on large-scale digital transformation programmes AI governance and implementation Agile coaching or organisational design At Version 1, we believe in providing our employees with a comprehensive benefits package that prioritises their wellbeing, professional growth, and financial stability.
