In this role, you will perform high-complexity laboratory testing on clinical specimens, interpret and report results, and ensure compliance with study protocols and regulatory guidelines. You will work under general supervision to support critical clinical trials and process-improvement initiatives within a collaborative, cutting-edge laboratory environment. The Opportunity Perform high-complexity testing within the CDx CAP/CLIA Laboratory, monitoring the performance of IHC, ISH, molecular assays, and immunoassays. Support clinical testing and sample processing while strictly adhering to CAP/CLIA regulations, ISO 15189 guidelines, and internal safety protocols (SHE, OSHA). Execute biological sample accessioning for blood, plasma, and tissue, managing quality control for demographic data input and communicating client sample updates. Evaluate quality control and test results critically against established acceptance criteria to safely validate and support clinical trial progression. Utilize technical writing skills and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) to accurately complete laboratory documentation, SOPs, and Quality documents. Investigate laboratory failures and assist with root cause analysis, resolving operational variances to ensure data integrity. Maintain laboratory readiness by participating in routine maintenance, instrument troubleshooting, and regular safety inspections. Drive process improvements by analyzing alternative technical approaches to solve scientific problems and introducing fresh perspectives to existing workflows. Who you are Shift Availability: Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Educated in the sciences: You hold a Bachelor's Degree (BS or BA) in a life sciences discipline or a related field. Technically experienced: You possess hands-on laboratory experience working with Immunohistochemistry (IHC), chromogenic in-situ hybridization (ISH), histology workflows (CAP/CLIA), immunoassays, or molecular biology techniques. A compliance-minded professional: You demonstrate a strong understanding of good laboratory practices, regulatory compliance, and proper documentation procedures. An agile multi-tasker: You bring excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the flexibility needed to balance shifting schedules and tasks. A collaborative communicator: You feature excellent verbal and written communication skills alongside proficiency in computer software, laboratory information systems, and basic statistical analysis tools. Preferred You possess 1 or more years of experience actively working within an accredited clinical laboratory environment. Certified in HT or HTL (ASCP) and QIHC . Relocation benefits are not available for this posting. The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Arizona is 50,050.00 - 78,650.00 USD Annual. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
