Job Description: Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Supply Chain & Quality Manager (f/m) to join our PIMMF Procurement Supply Chain and Logistics for Metallic Material, forging department based in Blagnac, France. You will be part of a team managing the Metallic Material and Forging sub-commodity. As part of the Procurement team, you will be involved in strategic cross-supplier management, operational risk mitigation, and performance steering aiming at securing supply chain resilience and driving sub-commodity success. Your challenges: Drive supplier performance management, consolidate monthly portfolio metrics, and evaluate operational capacity, rate capability, and supply chain risks. Lead high-level cross-supplier incident responses (non-conformities, safety issues) and define long-term Supplier Quality Improvement Plans (SQIP) and quality approvals. Lead strategic cross-program initiatives, validate Call for Tender (CFT) inputs, and assign final Supply Chain & Quality (SCQ) ratings for supplier selection. Define, plan, and report sub-commodity audits and assessments to ensure compliance with required certifications and strategic alignment. Coach and support fellow SCQMs in their development or during crisis management, and act as the primary focal point for the Wichita Sparrow supply chain. Your boarding pass: Proven professional experience in supply chain, quality management, or procurement within complex aerospace or industrial sectors. Technical expertise in supply chain and quality principles, industrial processes (metallic materials/forging), and de-risking methodologies. Advanced problem-solving skills to tackle complex, recurring cross-supplier issues and implement systemic corrective actions. Demonstrated leadership capability to build consensus and drive action across multi-functional teams without direct authority.
