Join us and, together, we’ll advance your career. THE ROLE: We are looking for a SYSTEMS DESIGN ENGINEER to join our growing team. As a key contributor to designing AMD’s AI server product, you will be part of a board design team that works with a cross-functional team to design and deliver the highest-quality proposal/product to the customer. You will be responsible for creating quality and ensuring the success of teamwork. You and the team will continue to develop, and the product will improve. We also encourage technical innovation to showcase successes and facilitate continuous career development. THE PERSON: As a SYSTEMS DESIGN ENGINEER , you will work with cross-functional teams (Power, ME, SI, Layout) to deliver high-quality design or proposal. You need to have more design experience and be familiar with server debug processes. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Cross-functional work ability – able to work with functions to design AMD AI product solutions. Design review ability – able to provide design review results that include hardware block-level, circuit, and layout, and recommendations. Issue Investigation ability- able to debug issues found during the process, bring-up, validation, and production phases. Familiar with board Design tool (Cadence's Concept, Allegro ) PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 2+ years of industry experience in x86 hardware and product development and MB design experience. Extensive experience with a cross-functional design team. Extensive experience with design/debug tools , including Concept, Allegro, and oscilloscopes. Extensive experience with board/platform-level debugging, including delivery, sequencing, and analys is. Extensive experience in PCBA BOM architecture and creation.
