About the job: JOB DESCRIPTION - JUNIOR DATA ANALYST Support analytical initiatives, transforming data into insights that contribute to strategic decision-making and business performance improvement. Key Responsibilities Perform data extractions. Develop and maintain Python scripts for data processing and automation. Execute data validation, cleansing and transformation tasks. Build and maintain dashboards in: MicroStrategy, Amazon QuickSight, Lookerstudio Ensure data accuracy and reliability across reports. Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Translate data into actionable insights aligned with business strategy. Support strategic initiatives with data-driven recommendations. Participate in performance tracking and KPI definition. Prepare clear and structured presentations (PowerPoint/Slides) for business stakeholders. Present analytical findings in a concise and business-oriented manner. Support business teams with ad-hoc analysis. Collaborate cross-functionally with technical and business areas. Technical Skills Python (pandas, data manipulation, automation logic), SQL (intermediate level), AWS basics (S3, Athena, Redshift or similar), MicroStrategy, Amazon QuickSight, Strong data analysis skills Microsoft Office package and Google Suite is required Advanced English Level Spanish Desired BBVA Hong Kong will conduct a background check on you in accordance with the Mandatory Reference Checking (MRC) Scheme regulated by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA).
