As a key leader within APEX MAPS Trade, this role will lead trade and distribution analytics & insights to support Market Access, Trade, and Brand stakeholders. The individual will use secondary data, syndicated sources, and research to evaluate specialty pharmacy, wholesaler, GPO, FFS, inventory, and channel performance; identify risks and opportunities; and translate insights into clear recommendations that support market access trade and distribution strategy. Key Responsibilities: Lead trade and distribution analytics and research to inform strategy, evaluate contract and program performance, and quantify ROI across therapeutic areas and customer segments. Partner cross-functionally with Market Access, Trade & Distribution, Brand Marketing, Finance, Legal, Pricing, HEOR, Patient Services, and franchise teams to influence strategic decisions and portfolio impact. Plan and execute analytics and primary research to support commercialized brands across specialty pharmacy, retail pharmacy, payors, GPOs, wholesalers, and patient services stakeholders. Pull, integrate, and analyze internal and syndicated data to generate insights on channel performance, patient access, distribution flow, and commercial risks and opportunities. Develop and apply advanced analytical models to assess payer, channel, and trade dynamics and support evidence-based decision-making. Drive KPI reporting, standardized performance measurement, and Trade Quarterly Business Reviews to monitor product, program, and channel performance. Evaluate the value and impact of Specialty Pharmacy, FFS, and GPO contracts, and develop data-driven strategies to identify value-based opportunities with trading partners. Evaluate specialty pharmacy, wholesaler, GPO, FFS, inventory, and channel performance to identify risks, opportunities, and recommended actions. Communicate clear, actionable recommendations to leadership and guide vendors and team members to deliver high-quality analytics, research, and insights on time. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field, plus 5 years of experience as a consultant or analyst with a pharmaceutical manufacturer, including 5 years of relevant experience in the following areas; or alternatively, a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field, plus 3 years of experience as a consultant or analyst with a pharmaceutical manufacturer, including 3 years of relevant experience in the following areas. Applying practical statistical methods, including trend analysis, multivariate analysis, forecasting, ROI measurement, and scenario analysis, using pharmaceutical and trade data sources including CMS, IQVIA, Symphony Health, Rebate, EDI 867 (Product Transfer & Resale), EDI 852 (Product Activity), and HIRC. Performing data analysis using each of the following tools: SQL, Advanced Excel and data visualization tools such as Power BI; Experience with Python or R is preferred. Ability to pull, integrate, validate, and analyze internal and syndicated pharmaceutical data to generate insights on channel performance, patient access, distribution flow, commercial opportunities, risks, and trade impact. Demonstrated ability to lead both analytics and primary research activities in support of supply chain stakeholders, including specialty pharmacies, retail pharmacies, wholesalers, and patient services. Experience leading analytics and primary research to support trade, distribution, and supply chain stakeholders, including specialty pharmacies, retail pharmacies, wholesalers, GPOs, and patient services. Proven business acumen, strategic and analytical thinking, executive presence, and the ability to influence without authority across cross-functional partners and leadership. Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to speak and write persuasively, clearly, and concisely. Ability to effectively use AI tools to improve analytics, reporting, and communication while ensuring accuracy, privacy, and compliance. Ability to synthesize complex analytics, research, and trade/distribution data into clear, concise, and persuasive recommendations for senior stakeholders. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, adaptability, and resourcefulness in a dynamic, collaborative, and deadline-driven environment.
