This Position reports to: Chapter Lead Your role and responsibilities: In this role, you will be responsible for developing new solutions as well as technical improvement of active ones in line with the required product standards and market specifications for electrical distribution board products. The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the Electrification/Smart Power/Breakers & Enclosure in Hyderabad or Bengaluru. You will be mainly accountable for: Lead and actively contribute to R&D projects, ensuring alignment with Agile methodologies and project objectives. Develop and optimize mechanical designs (2D and 3D) for Low Voltage Enclosures, driving innovation and ensuring compliance with technical specifications. Participate in testing and validation processes to ensure that enclosure components meet performance specifications Ensure that all designs comply with industry standards and best practices for safety and efficiency. Define and validate material requirements, oversee creation of Material Master Data, and ensure accurate Bills of Materials for all product designs. Our team dynamics are based on the Agile Methodology. You will join a collaborative, dynamic and result-driven team, where you will be able to thrive. Qualifications for the role : You hold Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Strong proficiency in 2D/3D CAD design; experience with Catia V5 and Creo 8.0 (including sheet metal package) of at least 2/3 years. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken. Advanced knowledge of MS Office tools for documentation and reporting. Proven ability to work under pressure with adaptability, proactive problem-solving, and a strong sense of ownership for delivering results. Demonstrated experience in leading tasks and collaborating effectively within dynamic, cross-functional teams.
