Job Title Software Developer Job Summary Designs, develops, tests, and supports full stack applications across front-end, back-end, APIs, and supporting platforms. Works with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure solutions that meet business and technical requirements. Contributes to application architecture, system integration, technical documentation, and continuous improvement activities. Follows established development standards and secure coding best practices to help prevent security vulnerabilities and support high-quality software delivery. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, test, and maintain full stack applications and services • Build and support front-end components, back-end services, APIs, and database integrations • Collaborate with product, QA, infrastructure, and other engineering teams to deliver technical solutions • Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and task details • Follow software development standards, code review practices, and engineering best practices • Apply secure coding principles and remediation practices to reduce security vulnerabilities in application design and development • Support system integration, application enhancements, defect resolution, and production support • Participate in Agile or Scrum ceremonies, technical planning, and task estimation • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, code management, and deployment processes • Perform additional duties as assigned Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field • 5+ years of experience in full stack software development • Experience developing web applications, APIs, and integrated systems • Knowledge of software development life cycle, Agile, and Scrum methodologies • Experience with secure coding best practices and application security principles to help prevent common security vulnerabilities • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities • Unrestricted work authorization with no future sponsorship required Preferred Qualifications • Experience in payments, card processing, gateways, or API-based platforms • Experience in financial services or other highly regulated environments • Exposure to cloud technologies, Docker, and CI/CD tools • Familiarity with security testing, code scanning, and vulnerability remediation processes Desired Technical Skills • Java • Angular • React • JavaScript • jQuery • XML • JSON • CSS • DB2 • Linux • Git • Docker • CI/CD Thank you for considering employment with Fiserv.
