The Project Assistant, Internal Investigations - Office of Ethics and Compliance (OEC) supports high-impact compliance work at the center of AbbVie’s global ethics and integrity efforts. The incumbent will help drive the operations of the Internal Investigations team by preparing executive-level metrics, managing critical case information, supporting helpline and investigation processes, and partnering across Legal, Compliance, Audit, Human Resources, and global business teams. Responsibilities: Prepare metrics reports for various levels of management, including CECO, VP Legal, VP Internal Audit and Stakeholder Cluster meetings. Identify and investigate trends of note. Superuser on Investigations team for Analytics review and assessment. Subject Matter Expert for operations of OEC Investigations’ Helpline; triage critical matters to appropriate functions on expedited basis. Subject Matter Expert for management and updating of OEC Investigations’ system of Record (HR Acuity). Interface with OEC Monitoring to ensure regular assessment of Monitoring data that might be investigated. Matter management for the Internal Investigations team. Includes managing reports & files, gathering relevant information and exhibits. Prepare weekly triage report for OEC team meetings, including case assignments and organizing investigations in partnership with the Department Head and Investigators. Collaborate with OEC systems and international compliance to maintain and update applications as needed. Possess in-depth working knowledge of AbbVie’s business, including OEC policies and Investigations procedures. Represent OEC Investigations matters on cross-functional and global projects, including compliance systems. Manage multiple tasks simultaneously delivering outstanding work product within the agreed upon deadlines. Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience required. Minimum of 5+ years experience with, or exposure to various business functions such as Compliance, Legal, Human Resources, Employee Relations, and Audit. Conducts work with a high degree of discretion and appropriate level of confidentiality. Able to build strong relationships with peers, and cross-functional partners outside of the team. Ability to deal with time constraints and effectively manage deadlines. Highly proficient in technology systems and reporting including Microsoft Office Suite, iSight/HR Acuity, SRM/SAP, and DSP. Ability to take the initiative and work independently under minimal supervision. Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
