Job Function: Supply Chain Planning Job Sub Function: Planning Strategy & Capabilities Job Category: Professional All Job Posting Locations: Bangalore, Karnataka, India Job Description: J&J Medtech is expanding its footprint in India and is building a Global Capability Center (GCC) for Supply Chain in Bangaluru and Pune. The GCC lead will be tasked to build out the capability center supporting the global SC teams across multiple business units and functions transferring work. The GCC lead is accountable for providing dedicated, on-site leadership for the MedTech Supply Chain presence in the Bengaluru and Pune Global Capability Center. The role serves as the primary local integrator across hosted MedTech SC functions, creating a unified employee experience, enabling effective execution of global and regional priorities, and ensuring that the Bengaluru and Pune center operates with strong governance, disciplined operating routines, compliant business practices, and a culture grounded in the Johnson & Johnson Credo. This leader will partner closely with global MTSC functions and business units, Integrated Business Management, functional leadership, Finance, HR, and local India stakeholders to translate enterprise and functional expectations into a practical local operating model. The role will drive cross-functional alignment, talent engagement, onboarding, capability building, stakeholder connectivity, site operations, leader visit readiness, and continuous improvement across the Bengaluru hub. The position is intended to strengthen the GCC as a strategic capability and execution hub, not simply a physical site. It requires a leader who can operate effectively in a complex matrix, influence without direct authority, create clarity across multiple functions, build trust with local and global stakeholders, and mature the center from start-up/scale-up mode into a stable, high-performing, talent-rich capability platform.
