This position reports to: Facility Manager __ Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to perform various activities related to the maintenance and upkeep of facilities, buildings, grounds, and other related areas in accordance with agreed maintenance guidelines and procedures to increase the overall efficiency of the facility team. Each day, you will perform routine maintenance and repairs, including assisting with equipment and systems maintenance. You will also showcase your expertise by managing inventory and supplies, handling waste management, and maintaining cleanliness in common areas. The work model for the role is: Onsite This role is contributing to the Smart Power division in Mebane, NC. You will be mainly accountable for:Performing various tasks related to the maintenance, operation, and cleanliness of a facility. Conducting inspections to identify maintenance needs and taking appropriate actions. Carrying out building cleaning operations in accordance with ABB cleaning standards. Monitoring common areas, including parking and green areas, and ensuring proper maintenance, cleanliness, and adherence to established guidelines and standards. Handling small routine maintenance needs and minor repairs with general guidance. Our team dynamics You will join a dynamic, talented, high performing team, where you will be able to thrive. Qualifications for the roleMinimum of two (2) years of experience performing routine facility maintenance, groundskeeping, custodial services, and general building cleanup activities. Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, industrial, or commercial facility environments. Ability to perform physical work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and humidity. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required. Legally authorized to work in the United States. Ability to safely operate basic maintenance tools and equipment. Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment as required to support facility operations. What's in it for you?
