This position reports to: Sub GBU Technology Manager __ Your role and responsibilities As Digital Technology Manager you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of the digital technology roadmap for the ELSE division. This strategic role leads digital innovation and the evolution of the division’s global digital portfolio. The position bridges business strategy with technology implementation, ensuring that the ELSE division achieves its future growth targets and leadership in digital. The preferred work model for this role is hybrid, although remote work is also acceptable. This role is contributing to the Global R&D of ELSE Division. Main stakeholders are R&D Technology Manager, Digital Lead and Product Managementt. You will be mainly accountable for: Define and evolve the global technology roadmap for digital products, Cloud software, software tools, and embedded systems in close collaboration with Digital Lead, Digital Transformation Manager, Product Line Managers, and Product Managers Collaborate with R&D Team Managers to ensure appropriate competences in the teams and properly defined objectives in line with the overall R&D strategy Identify emerging technologies together with the R&D and Corporate Research teams and drive collaboration and knowledge transfer Manage investments, resources, key risks, and relevant IP in the area of responsibility. Drive innovation, define technology standards and guide architectural decisions for the digital platforms of the division Establish common development processes, tools, architecture principles, and quality standards across teams. Coordinate local and global teams and partners, ensuring that appropriate actions and decisions are taken to manage conflicts or resolve technical problems. Qualifications for the roleMaster's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related discipline 10+ years in digital technology management role with experience in defining technology roadmaps and leading complex development portfolios Sound experience in leading development process from requirements to product launch. Mastery in Agile methodologies and experience in Gate Model or equivalent process Solid knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and system architecture Understanding of IoT, edge computing, and industrial automation technologies Ability to influence without authority in matrix organizations and to work across countries and cultures Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent project and program management abilities Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
