You will be part of a team developing Single Aisle Final Assembly Line logistics and material management operations. As part of the FAL Logistics Team, you will be involved in coordinating line-side material feed and managing the Logistics Service Provider (LSP) interface aiming at securing seamless production, mitigating supply chain disruptions, and maintaining Airbus quality standards. Opened at the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley in 2015, the facility produces A320 Family aircraft and added a second product line for the A220 in 2019. Your ChallengesLine-Side Logistics & Material Flow: Coordinate and expedite material flow to the production line, providing line-side support and tracking delivery status to safeguard the production schedule. Disruption Management & Missing Parts: Identify supply chain disruptions, manage missing parts lists with Production and the FAL Hamburg Back Office, and apply Lean Manufacturing philosophies to improve processes. Non-Conforming Material & Rework: Prioritize high-urgency reorders for non-conforming material, execute part reassignments, and oversee scrap and return processes for rework/concession parts. LSP & Partner Focal Point: Act as the Autonomous Production Team (APT) focal point for Logistics Service Providers (LSP) and 3rd-party on-site support partners. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Information Systems to ensure strict adherence to Airbus standards and health/safety regulations. Your Boarding PassEducation: Bachelor’s degree, technical degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience focused in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or Logistics (preferred). Experience: 0- 2 years of experience in supply chain, physical logistics, or material management—preferably in aviation manufacturing, assembly, or MRO environments. Technical Skills & Core Knowledge: Working knowledge of physical logistics processes, logistics IT tools, Lean Manufacturing methodologies, and quality/environmental standards (e.g., ISO 14001). Analytical & Problem-Solving Capabilities: Proven ability to identify root causes of supply chain disruptions, evaluate complex situations, and implement stable operational solutions. Communication & Collaboration: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (additional language skills are a plus) with demonstrated experience collaborating in multicultural teams. Physical RequirementsAbility to work on-site in an active commercial aircraft final assembly line (FAL) and shop floor environment. Ability to walk, stand, and navigate production flowlines throughout the workday. Ability to inspect and track physical materials and delivery units safely while wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
