This role is part of Alcon's Manufacturing function, a team that designs, produces and delivers innovative eyecare products to more than 140 countries through operational excellence and efficiency. Technician III, Sterile Production Operations (Science/Tech/Engineering Path), is primarily responsible for overseeing advanced technical tasks in processing ingredients and pharmaceutical products. You will operate, maintain, and troubleshoot complex equipment, handle materials, and ensure product quality through adherence to procedures and problem-solving. Specifics Include: Oversee advanced technical tasks related to processing ingredients and pharmaceutical products, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory requirements Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot complex manufacturing equipment such as autoclaves, ovens, stills, filtration apparatus, and sterile filling equipment Handle raw materials and finished products and perform general maintenance Follow standard operating procedures, maintain records, lead quality checks, and drive process improvement initiatives Ensure compliance with Good Practice (GxP) requirements by inspecting products, following standard operating procedures, addressing deviations and issues promptly, maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completing all required training Meet individual job requirements and contribute to the overall compliance of the organization Commitment to continuous improvement and compliance with regulatory requirements All associates must adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completing all required training.
