Job DescriptionSummary of Position Responsible for all activities in Manufacturing Operations to produce product in accordance with established policies and procedures. This position will also be responsible for training employees on equipment, processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The position reports directly to the Supervisor, Manufacturing Operations. Key Responsibilities Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations. Adhere to FDA regulations, GMP/GDP practices, and other regulatory requirements. Train new operators and provide cross-training opportunities for existing employees. Troubleshoot equipment and processes as needed. Monitor and maintain product quality standards. Collaborate with maintenance personnel to address equipment issues. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain accurate records and documentation. Assist in inventory control and material handling tasks. Coordinate with production planning department to ensure efficient use of resources. Communicate effectively with team members and management. Qualifications Minimum Requirements High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred. Previous manufacturing experience preferred. Ability to read, write and speak English. Basic computer skills required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Problem solving and critical thinking abilities. Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Flexibility to work overtime as required (both during the week and on call). Availability to work any shift assigned (2nd & 3rd shifts are 11pm – 7am Monday through Friday) Able to lift 50 pounds, wear protective gear, and stand for long periods of time. Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred.
