How will you make an impact? The Assistant Quality Manager supports the Site Quality Manager in driving quality excellence across the facility. This role is responsible for promoting the effective use of quality systems and methodologies, supporting the Quality Management System (QMS), leading quality training initiatives, managing departmental metrics, and developing Quality team members to ensure compliance, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence. What will you do? Support the Quality Assurance Manager in achieving departmental and organizational objectives. Monitor Quality Department activities and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Manage quality performance metrics and drive corrective actions to improve results. Develop, coordinate, and facilitate quality-related training programs. Recruit, coach, develop, and support Quality Department personnel. Evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the Quality Management System (QMS). Promote the use of quality tools, methodologies, and best practices throughout the facility. Support internal, customer, and third-party audits, ensuring timely closure of findings and corrective actions. Lead and support Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) activities, including root cause analysis and implementation of sustainable solutions. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 requirements, company procedures, and customer expectations. Support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and operational processes. Comply with all safety, health, environmental, and security requirements. How will you get here? Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field preferred. Experience: 5+ years of experience in a Quality, Quality Assurance, or Quality Systems role. 2+ years of leadership, supervisory, or management experience. Experience supporting quality systems within a manufacturing environment. Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives. Experience participating in internal, customer, and external audits. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance principles, quality systems, and continuous improvement methodologies. Understanding of ISO 9001 requirements, audit processes, CAPA management, and root cause analysis techniques. Working knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and quality improvement tools. Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and team development skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a manufacturing environment. ASQ certification (CQE, CQA, CMQ/OE) and/or Lean Six Sigma certification. Experience supporting and maintaining ISO 9001-certified Quality Management Systems. What Can Jabil Offer You?
