Job Title: Senior Principal, Edge AI Product Management Hiring Manager: Edge AI Team, Adam Rowell Location: Flexible Role Overview: The Edge AI team is seeking a Senior Principal, Edge AI Product Management expert to lead the development of ADI's software product roadmap for Physical Intelligence (PI). This individual will drive the productization of Physical Intelligence solutions, enabling scalable and efficient time-to-market strategies for ADI Business Units (BUs). In collaboration with the Edge AI engineering teams, Lorenz Lab researchers, and customer-facing teams, you will define, refine, and deliver PI products and tools that empower customers to solve complex real-world problems using ADI's software and hardware platforms. The role involves gathering customer and BU requirements, creating product definitions, and driving iterative product design cycles, including rapid proof-of-concept (POC) development with ADI engineering teams. As a leader in this space, you will demonstrate how PI applications can be developed on ADI's PI product stack, positioning the company as a leader in Physical Intelligence solutions. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with customers, business units, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define software products, tools, and solutions for Physical Intelligence (PI). Develop and lead the roadmap for PI products, SDKs, tools, and simulations, ensuring alignment with customer needs and ADI's strategic objectives. Drive iterative product design cycles, including rapid POC development in partnership with engineering teams, to validate and refine PI solutions. Enable scalable and reusable software solutions that support ADI’s hardware platforms and PI strategies. Identify and integrate with simulation tools, SDKs, AI frameworks, and ecosystem partners to position ADI's PI solutions within a broader technology landscape. Demonstrate leadership in PI productization by showcasing practical applications and enabling customers to achieve faster time-to-market for their PI-based strategies. Act as a bridge between research teams (e.g., Lorenz Lab) and customer-facing teams to ensure seamless collaboration and delivery of solutions. Qualifications: Proven experience in working with customers to define, design, and productize complex applications, including software, hardware, and AI-driven solutions. Strong expertise in generalizing and scaling applications into reusable and marketable software products or platforms. Demonstrated ability to deliver proof-of-concept solutions and collaborate with engineering teams to bring them to market. In-depth understanding of simulation tools, SDKs, AI frameworks, and their integration into larger hardware/software ecosystems. Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams effectively. Ability to define and drive the direction of ecosystem development to support ADI's Physical Intelligence strategy. Preferred Skills: Experience in system design, customer-driven productization, and scaling of AI or DSP-based solutions. Familiarity with ADI hardware platforms, Edge AI solutions, or similar embedded and constrained systems. Technical expertise in physics-based simulation, hardware-aware AI, or similar domains. Experience with rapid prototyping and iterative design processes in multidisciplinary settings.
