Senior Processor Applications Engineer About the Role Analog Devices' Digital Business Group is looking for a passionate and driven engineer with a strong foundation in embedded systems, hardware/software development, and communication skills. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and collaborate across teams to support product adoption in Automotive, Consumer, Industrial, and multimarket applications. Roles & Responsibilities: Design and develop reference designs (both software and hardware) for emerging interfaces on ADI processors. Perform system-level validation, including compliance testing for complex interfaces such as DDR, USB, and Ethernet. Customize reference designs to meet customer-specific requirements, ensuring seamless integration with ADI processors. Collaborate with Tier-1 and OEM customers (onsite/offsite) to resolve technical challenges and accelerate their transition to production. Create technical articles, demo platforms, and deliver training sessions for customers and internal ADI sales/support teams. Act as a key liaison between customers and ADI product development teams, providing valuable feedback for next-generation product development. Understand system-level requirements for targeted markets/applications and work with cross-functional teams on product definition and execution. Candidate Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, with strong fundamentals in microprocessors/microcontrollers having 6-8 years of experience. In depth Hands-on experience in ARM Cortex Microcontrollers and associated tools is a strong plus. Hands-on experience in DSP signal processing algorithm implementation and/or optimization on processors is a plus. Experience in debugging complex customer queries is a plus. Strong knowledge on microcontroller software topics such as Stack, Heap, Memory optimization, multi-core communication etc. Proficiency in C programming is mandatory. Experience with Python and/or assembly programming is a plus. Solid understanding of electronics engineering and familiarity with protocols such as I2C, I2S, SPI, UART. Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively. Self-motivated, innovative, and a positive team contributor. Willingness to travel domestically or internationally (10%–15%).
