Job description
The application window is expected to close on: 09/03/2026Job posting may be removed earlier if the position is filled or if a sufficient number of applications are received. This is an onsite position for San Jose, California, United States. Meet the Team You'll be joining Cisco Silicon One™—the heart of Cisco's Silicon Operations organization and the engine behind our game-changing, next-generation networking devices. We operate like a start-up inside a global technology leader, delivering the world's most advanced networking ASICs to a hungry, fast-moving market. You'll also be joining a top-ranked supply chain—Cisco placed #4 in the Gartner Global Supply Chain Top 25 (2026) and has held a top-5 position for nearly a decade, recognized for innovation in network design and for leveraging simulation, digital-twin models, and AI-driven insights to plan, adapt, and lead. This is the caliber of operation you'll help shape. Your Impact As Master Scheduler, Advanced Package, you'll build and own the weekly Master Production Schedule (MPS) that directs builds through leading-edge advanced packaging manufacturing—partnering directly with Foundry and OSAT partners to connect front-end and back-end manufacturing into one high-confidence, feasible production plan. As the process architect, you'll design the processes and tools this function needs from the ground up, not just run them—thriving on ambiguity and building scalable solutions that go beyond your immediate lane. You'll work with Materials Planning to coordinate procurement of critical Advanced Package materials (substrates, HBM, interposers) to prevent shortages and excess/obsolete risk, while proactively resolving capacity and scheduling conflicts across Foundry and OSAT partners to protect customer commitments. You'll also manage work-in-progress and finished goods inventory—setting target planning, reorder points, and min/max levels in ERP—to balance service levels with cost and obsolescence risk. As the central point of communication bridging front end wafer processes to the backend MPS, you'll track KPIs like on-time delivery, P2P attainment, and cycle time to drive continuous improvement in a lean, AI-enabled planning environment. Minimum Qualifications: 6+ years of overall experience, including 2+ years of experience in master scheduling, materials planning, or production planning within the semiconductor industry. In-depth understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, including wafer fabrication, advanced packaging, assembly, and testing. Experience working with outsourced manufacturing partners (foundries, assembly/test), with direct foundry engagement preferred. Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced planning tools. Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or equivalent experience. Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
