You'll work on cutting-edge architectures, collaborate with leading industry partners, and contribute to solutions that push the boundaries of power efficiency, density, and scalability. The candidate will work in a team of engineers to develop core power products for the data center market, with a focus on multiphase controllers, smart power stages, point-of-load DC/DC converters, and vertical power delivery architectures. This will involve close collaboration with some of the best circuit designers in the industry, armed with the tools, knowledge, and technologies of the leader in power management. The job requires a strong understanding of power electronics and hands-on laboratory skills. Additional responsibilities include writing circuit documentation and application notes as well as product promotion in front of customers and business development. More specifically, the candidate is expected to contribute in the following areas: Product Development - Lead system, architecture, and product definitions for data center core power solutions - Develop proof-of-concept simulation models and correlate with bench performance - Engage with key customers on product roadmap discussions, including next-generation voltage regulator and power delivery requirements - Perform experimental verification of products in development to identify problems and limitations Product Support - Generate and validate reference designs for system verification and customer applications - Develop design collaterals to assist customers, such as datasheets, evaluation kit manuals, application notes, layout guidelines, and simulation models - Verify and test evaluation kits, and generate evaluation reports for customers - Support troubleshooting of difficult or unusual technical problems Education & Experience Minimum BSEE + 5 years of experience; Preferred MSEE (or equivalent) + 7 years of experience Required Qualifications Strong knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals, control loop and architecture Strong analytical skills Power electronics understanding – operation and control of DC/DC converters Understanding of circuit simulation and/or software development tools and techniques Hands-on experience with lab equipment (i.e. power supplies, oscilloscope, electronic-load, DAQ) Experience in debugging circuits Ability to self-manage and meet deadlines Can work both independently and with a cross-functional team Preferred Qualifications Experience on multiphase buck converters and data center power applications Clear and concise communication skills Fundamentals on IC design and architecture For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. Job Req Type: Experienced Required Travel: Yes, 10% of the time Shift Type: 1st Shift/Days The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $150,978 to $218,624.Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors. This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
