We are currently seeking to hire a talented Field Service Engineer - Software who will be responsible for providing remote and on-site technical support for Varian Oncology Information Systems (OIS), Treatment Planning Systems (TPS), and ETHOS Appliance Servers supporting adaptive radiotherapy. This role ensures reliable system performance, continuity of clinical workflows, and high levels of customer satisfaction through installation, maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting, preventive service, infrastructure support, and system integration activities.Your tasks and responsibilities: You will provide remote and on-site technical support, maintenance, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, upgrades, and system health checks for Varian software solutions, including ARIA OIS, Eclipse TPS, and ETHOS Appliance Servers, ensuring reliable system performance and continuity of clinical operations. You will diagnose and resolve issues related to application software, Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, virtualization platforms, Active Directory, storage systems, backup solutions, security controls, and TCP/IP networking. You will perform preventive maintenance, system health checks, operating system patching, software updates, upgrades, and corrective actions. You will perform software installation, configuration, and implementation activities for ARIA OIS, Eclipse TPS, and ETHOS Appliance Servers in accordance with company standards and customer-specific technical environments. You will verify connectivity and data exchange between ARIA OIS, Eclipse TPS, ETHOS, imaging modalities, PACS/RIS, and other hospital information systems. You will investigate, document, and resolve service incidents within agreed service levels, escalating complex issues with appropriate technical evidence while maintaining ownership through resolution. You will provide customer instruction and guidance on basic system operation and maintenance to ensure safe and effective use of supported solutions. You will comply with Varian and Siemens Healthineers quality, information security, data privacy, safety, and regulatory requirements. You will collaborate with regional and global support teams and travel throughout Southeast Asia (ASEAN) as required. To find out more about the specific business, have a look at https://www.varian.com/ Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge You hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Medical Informatics, or a related technical discipline. Equivalent practical experience may be considered. You have at least 3 years of experience in field service, software support, systems engineering, or a related technical role. Experience in healthcare or medical technology is preferred. You have strong knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure, computer systems, Microsoft Windows environments, networking, and virtualization technologies. You have strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and incident management skills. You have a customer-focused mindset with excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both clinical and technical stakeholders. You have excellent written and verbal English communication skills. You demonstrate willingness and ability to travel throughout ASEAN and provide both remote and on-site support as business needs require.
