A Day in the LifeJob Specific Summary ServiceNow Architect Job Description Work on a growing, dynamic team to guide the design and implementation of new ServiceNow features, custom enhancements to ServiceNow applications, new custom applications, and migration of legacy solutions to the latest technologies. Our current programs include a broad rollout of NowAssist and Predictive Intelligence capabilities, expansion of Configurable Workspace capabilities, and numerous modernization and automation initiatives. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. • Develop and maintain the overall ServiceNow platform architecture, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices. • Lead the design of scalable and sustainable solutions, considering performance, security, and integration requirements. • Provide technical leadership to a team of ServiceNow developers and administrators. • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to understand requirements and assist in translating them into effective ServiceNow solutions. • Work with enterprise and business unit architects to align on strategic direction and tactical decisions while representing the needs of the ServiceNow platform • Oversee the implementation and configuration of ServiceNow modules. • Ensure adherence to coding and configuration standards. • Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems to streamline processes and data flow. • Participate in establishing and enforcing guardrails, policies, and ensuring compliance with security standards and regulations. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT teams, business units, and external vendors, to gather requirements and ensure successful platform implementation. • Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, facilitating effective communication. • Create and maintain technical documentation, including architectural diagrams, configuration guides, and best practice documentation. • Provide training and mentorship to team members to enhance their ServiceNow skills. Requirements • Requires a Baccalaureate degree (or for degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree plus relevant experience • Proven experience of 2+ years as a ServiceNow Platform Architect, with a strong focus on platform design and implementation • Active ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification • ServiceNow Architect certification is highly desirable • Proven experience leading ServiceNow implementations, including customization, integration, and development. In-depth understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, ServiceNow modules, scripting, integrations, and best practices. • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and AJAX, along with experience in web application development and ServiceNow platform functionalities • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot issues and optimize processes • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders • Relevant certifications such as ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or Certified Implementation Specialist (HR/CSM/ITSM) • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with the capability to mentor and guide ServiceNow developers.
